If we have the league comfortably sewn up with games to spare then I think Ange should give him some game time to see how he performs. He might just be too big a risk just now as every game is a must win game

Aye once league is done, hopefully he can get some game time.. and next season we will need more rotation with the CBs as if one of them needs to step I'm they will be very rusty..

Just not really had the luxury of doing that this season after the start we made.

Think we won't be seeing him in any meaningful way until next season.

Could imagine he'd get a good run of preseason friendlies, would be amazing if he can come back to the squad fully fit and offer some aerial threats next to guys like CCV (Assuming both are even here next season)

He was never quick but he has come back frighteningly slow..

Would be a nightmare in our style..

Watched him in the b team recently, which was month's after his Raith Rovers cup appearance....and he still didn't look any better than he did then..

He went down holding his knee in the b team game last week for a while as well..

He'll likely break down again with some kinda injury, doesn't seem suited to us whatsoever in this style and don't think Ange will fancy him long term..

Would be good to get some game time once the league's won....but I think we'll go in to the market and he'll be gone..

If we win the league next week, I'd be starting him in at least one of the remaining games, and give him lengthy cameo's in the other two. I'd be surprised if he's here next season, but he was a decent player before his injury.

It felt like every window we've been holding off to see what he comes back like.

I worried that we were doing that in January but if an injury was to happen to Starfelt or CCV, it'd be Welsh stepping in and not Jullien.

I think it's best for everyone if he were to move on in the summer. Hopefully we get a few million and he goes with my best wishes. He was amazing on his day and those goals against Lazio and the cup final will be forever seared into my memories.

I won't claim to know this ins and outs of what's going on with Jullien, but I wonder if this injury has done him in? Wouldn't be the first time a player has come back from serious injury and has lost a certain amount of quality from their game, and considering he's almost on his way to 30...

Possible. Heard on a podcast he may be sold this summer too.

To be honest, when you look at how rarely he's been included, I think that tells its own story. The manager sees him every day in training yet has only felt the need to throw him in once and that was a 16-minute appearance against Raith Rovers at Celtic Park. He also hasn't made the matchday squad for about 8-10 games now in the league. The fact he sees Stephen Welsh as being ahead of Jullien in the pecking order also speaks volumes.

If we got a decent offer for Jullien, probably of around £2m-£3m, I reckon we would cut our losses. Either that or the manager is waiting to see what a pre-season does for him. But to me, it just says a lot that despite the fact he's been fit since mid-January, there's still been no trust placed in him.

Think it's a bit different woth centre half's..
Once they have built a strong partnership it is hard to dislodge one. As good as Jullien could be...he's been out a very long time and when you're going for trophies and its this tight it makes the task even harder. I'd give him a full summer and if come end of July ange feels he's best somewhr3 else then so be it

He'll maybe make a sub appearance when the leagues won, but he'll be used in pre season and it'll be his chance to impress Ange.

Still has a big part to play here imo, but only if he can play Ange's style.

whens his contract up 2023 or 24 ?

dont think its likely wed get much for him since hes not played regularly for so long, if its season 2024 then we can get him playing and see if he can get back to his best, i reckon hes probably surplus because of big wages likely to go for nothing next year

maybe ccv was only brought in on loan because jullien wasnt ready and the club hoped julliene would regain his place for 22/23 season, id rather ccv to be honest you know what your getting but can we afford him or would it string out to the end of a transfer window to see if anyone else wanted him and then wed try and get him on loan again

Not even on the bench again today, he’ll be away in the summer for sure. Ashame but he will never start ahead of CCV or Starfelt.

He's done. To not be on the bench ahead of Welsh tells a lot.
