I actually live and work in Nijmegen and this guy is a real workhorse for N.E.C.
To help a newly promoted team up into 5th position in the Eredivisie is some feat and he's helped the cause along with a substantial amount of goals. Would love this if it happened but I'd imagine, being one of the most in form players in the Eredivisie at the moment, they'd be looking at quite the transfer fee. -

He's officially a striker but is played in behind the front line of attack and/or on the right wing. Has a great left foot and impressive vision.

I dont know if im overly fussed about this deal. Feel he may be one of these awkward inbetween position type players. Like can he actually play outwide or is he a striker who just drifts. His goal scoring record is good though but again if his all round game was good bigger teams than Birmingham would be linked to him.

I think that's more due to the fact that he had a year out through injury. He has come back fit and scoring goals out of his normal position and for a newly promoted club into the top dutch division. I think that says a lot about his character and ability. -

And i actually am more of a supporter of N.E.C.'s rivals Vitesse Arnhem, so i'm not just bigging up the guy. The only thing that may be a worry is, is this just a short run of form and would he be able to cope with the.physicality of the Scottish game.
