I feel this is increasingly likely.

Now that we've formalised our agreement with Santos, and also with so much speculation about Izzy & Kayal moving to the EPL for big money, it's a more tempting proposition for the player and the club.

I think he would do well here. Topped the scoring charts in the Apertura, and could rip it up in the SPL.

Built like tank pace to burn would tear the spl a new 1, if not him then Felipe Caicedo should be a target he is tearing La Liga apart Man city only looking for 1/3million for him.

well after looking at him a bit more I wouldnt be so against a loan deal for him, as long as we play him as a ST. and dont make the same mistake Birmingham did

didn't impress for me at Birmingham. couple of goals in 30 appearances. for a striker, that's shocking. i know Birmingham fans rated him and he does have good movement but £7m?

a club record signing of £7m? you're having a laugh. we won't have that sort of money to spend on one player. even if we did, we would of had to sell one of our top players...i don't fancy trading in one of them for an unknown quality.

would take him on loan. would rather we go for other targets as i think £7m could be better spent elsewhere.

having said that, i have trust in Lennon so if the manager thinks he's worth a go, then he's worth a go.

STV reports we'll pay upwards of £5m and his club rate him at £7m. either way i can't see us spending the biggest amount on a player in nearly a decade any time soon.

Benitez could be set for Celtic | Football | STV Sport

If i am being honest, i didn't like the look of him at Birmingham. Very quick but not the best footballer i've seen. Tbh, i think he is the same sort of player as Kenny Miller, before he started scoring goals

I think some people are looking at Wiki stats and forming an opinion based on them.

Half the EPL wanted him, the 4 goals in 30 appearances doesn't tell anything like the full story.

He was at Brum and being used mostly out wide it does not suit his normal game look at Nikola Zigic Brum at the start played him wrong and its taken until now for them to start using him right .

He would score goals in attacking side .

I dont really rate him to be honest. Looked ok at best in the EPL but from what i seen was not a natural finisher

He doesn't need to be a natural finisher, with his pace in the SPL he will rip defences apart. Not to mention the fact he would have a very natural goal scorer next to him in Hooper.

Two completely different players. But both have great pace, which is something we could do with adding to our strike-force.
