Exactly. We were never going to spend 5 million on a striker that bagged 3 goals in the premiership in one season. Too big a risk given our current financial situation.

 

What is our current financial position? We are cutting our own throats with this signing policy, it is like a self-fullfilling doomsday prophecy. We buy * players cannot compete at a decent level and crowds plummet. We buy somemore * players and finally no-one goes to the match at all club closed!! unfortunatley we cant really have our pick of who we want, due to the fact we play in one of europes worst leagues. schecter said ages ago he'd rather go to spain, germany or france than here. as would most players who dont support celtic imo.
