    * love him man. At the end he was * breathless, never talked for about 2/3 minutes into stoppage time. Stopped all pretense of not being a fan and just kept saying 'we'

He's a proper Celtic man but he needs to cut out the constant snidey remarks. Even Lineker was taking the * out of him for doing it.

It's odd that so many on here seem a little surprised by how forthright he is with his opinions and the like. Was exactly the same in his playing days. I remember he got a ban for making some comments about teams laying down to that other team (d.2012) for example.Whether he is right or wrong is besides the point, as the issue is that he has opinions - good, bad or indifferent - and is not shy about voicing them.

They're all getting the boot in. Sutton is directly critical but Griffiths, Brown & Rodgers have all inadvertently been critical. All have commented on how the fitness of the team has improved (I find this strange as Deila was heralded for his diet regime etc). Griff also stated how the team would have crumbled last season. Obviously all was not good under Deila. Poor training/condition, poor tactics & lack of motivation. Wrong appointment indeed.

Deila said it himself, he was a burden to that team

LOL, he isn't letting go of the Ronny thing, he should leave it go now, but I love the guy.

    Agree with all that :50:

But he is right, let's face it. It might well be crass, and brutal at times, but when he says we've stepped up big time by replacing Deila with Rodgers he's 100% correct.

To be fair his co-commentator, whoever the * he is, did continue bringing up the Malmo game a lot. Think he was trying to tee up Sutton for a rant about Deila :smiley-laughing002:

Tanner is a wind up merchant-Sutton don't give a *- I moaned about Sutty last season but he calls it as it is and he knew Griffiths was going to ping in that free kick-he does see the game properly.

There is no need to keep harping on about it though. Deila left almost 4 months ago.

He's right. He knows he's right. We all know he's right, and Ronny Deila probably knows he's right, too.

But Deila is gone. There is no need to continue kicking him when he is down. Let it go, Chris.

Exactly, so why does Sutton feel the need to constantly point it out as well. Deila has accepted he was out of his depth.

Love Big Sutton and fair enough when Deila was still here but he's gone now and it's getting to the point where these comments are not worthy of him. When even Lineker is joking about that, then it tells you it's time to calm down.We all know Deila made mistakes, especially in Europe and we all know Rodgers is several classes above. We've all moved on.

I hope he lets it go because he's classier than this.

Thought he was a bit cunty last night. His own managerial record isn't so great yet he felt comfortable to berate someone else. Poor show.

    FFS he was right.

Its human nature to say I told you so, Sutty took his fair share of criticism for his ronny comments and so is biting back with his re-enforcement of it.

Sutton was just another ex- player to me until i read his book, and he makes it clear in that just how much he loves the club.

You have no managerial record of your own but feel the need to berate Suttons? Hypocrisy much?

Sutton was a huge player for us and has become a huge proponent of all things celtic using his media gigs.

He will let the ronny thing go in his own time, stop moaning about it

He is a stubborn and dogged individual its part of what made him a great player.

He is also just stating what everyone on here has stated regularly for the last couple of seasons. Stop making targets out of good tims in the media they are a rarity from the rest of the I hate celtic brigade like that clown andy walker
