I will never ever forgive him for his treatment of Ronny. The guy did his utmost for us, and gave 100%. Sutton slags him well after the fact. Sutton represents all the negative sides of our support, the quick to judge and slow to forgive. A gut reaction which is usually unfounded and unintelligent. He is an *, even if he is one of us.

He wasn't wrong though was he ? His treatment of Ronny may have been harsh but it represented about 80% of the support

Well I am proud to be the other 20% if that is the case. If you say the guy needs to go when he is manager that is an opinion, if you slate him 6 months after he left then you are a *.

I agree he does stick the boot in too often a lot of people have actually been doing it recently some of it is uncalled for but it's only natural that it will be compared. When Ronny was here the main argument to keep him was through belittling what Lenny achieved here

Sutton does step over the line with Deila now and again, given that he's not part of the club anymore, but in all honesty, I just don't care anymore. Deila is a nice guy who was part of a very poor period for this club, Sutton is a bit of a * who helped drive the club to huge success.

    I'll take the latter anytime.

Well you can't really say the quick to judge because Ronny had two years here.
I was a Ronny fan and wanted him to succeed but Sutton doesn't say anything out of line. Fair enough he needs to tone it down now Ronny isn't involved, but he always speaks the truth.

Ronny was like nice but dim, the guy really hadn't got a clue and was well out of depth. Sutton cares about Celtic, he's like a fan and all he wants is Celtic to be the best they can. Ronny was a fly by, Sutton is there for the long haul.

No he didn't. never learned that a 4-5-1 just didn't work, constantly playing his favourites even though their form was *, no plan B, total mismanagement, he was a * muppet and Sutton is 100% right.

Just because he was wrong doesn't mean he didn't try his best. Yes, he made a lot of mistakes, but he had faith in his system, it just didn't work out.
Can't say he didn't pour his heart into the job cuz he clearly did, to the point where he became mentally and physically sick.

I agree with everything Sutton says about him too btw and I know he is using the comparison to highlight the improvements we have made since BR came in.
I just think he goes on a little too much for my liking.
Still love big Sutty, always have.

If he gave 100% then he would have listened to what every Celtic fan was saying, he didn't and was too stubborn to change his ways, that to me is putting himself and his "philosophy" before Celtic, hence not 100%

I get what your saying. I'd just see that more as incompetence rather than not giving 100%.
Doesn't really matter either way though, at the end of the day he just wasn't good enough for the job.

Think he's both a class pundit & co-commentator, improved so much since he began. Loves to wind up the Zombies on Twitter too.

You'll never forgive a club legend over his treatment of an absolute failure of a manager:smiley-laughing002:

A lot of people got really invested in their own opinion of Ronny and can't accept the fact he was right all along.

Think he's a great pundit. Agree with majority of his points and is a club legend. Love the guy
