You're right on the second option most likely. Wants to be first choice in a team he signs for, IMO.

 

My early impressions of him being a * was correct. Utter * in reality. Guy thinks he's Ronaldo when he's scored 2 goals against * Ghana. Ffs griffiths scored 2 goals against European finalists and he canny get a club. Move on. The fans will be left with a distinct dislike towards him if he signs now.

Will be tricky to get to get a striker in who isn’t a project type. Thought we would defo get this guy but looking less likely now.

I wish folk would stop saying let’s just keep GG and give him a pay rise. He doesn’t want to stay here ffs! Kyogo could get injured and GG comes in scores back to back hatricks then would be back on the bench. He wants a fair crack at being number 1 and playing regularly.

 

You might be right on this, because how else to explain them supposedly claiming they can't afford him? That article even quoted one striker's imminent return to fitness as a further reason of their pull-out.

On the other hand- them 3 are not prolific. Jo gets in there, starts banging in the goals- he'd be a cemented first pick. He stated in his interview he does need to get fitness back, though. IMO, he * up. He could have asked for a meeting with Ange and sounded out what would be his role here. Or, he should've pushed harder for Mainz.

Of note is that Minnesota are now looking at Ui-jo Hwang, the Korean striker whom Jo replaced at the WC. Instead of 3 clubs, there's now only 2.

We must move on to other targets now. The decision that was said to come, has happened. At least he and his agent told the truth there.

When I signed on here, I was passionate about East Asians to the point of bickering. I still love them. I speak Korean now, even. But now, I'm also realistic. We can't please everyone. As a Korea NT fan, I hope Jo's career progresses. But it won't be here, unless a dramatic turn-around happens within 16 days.
