    Got this from Wiki

On 19 January 2021, he joined a K League 1club Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors as the advisor to help the selection, nurture, scouting, and training system of players.

So aye he’s an advisor/Representative for them

Nicholson is the CEO. The CEO reports to the board. Lawell is chairman of the the board. Transfers are not part of Lawell's role. But if he wants to stick his beak in, who's going to stop him?

Michael Nicolson and Ange Postecoglu for a start.

    Then his boy.

Probably Chris McKay as well to be honest.

Nicholson would, other people whose jobs he's interfering with would have something to say about it too, probably Ange. It's mad people are so determined to construct this narrative of Lawwell coming back to ruin us, our own fans doing the red tops job for them.

He's not back, he was never gone, on the board the full length of Ange being manager, no indication he's interfered in that time, nothing to indicate he's interfering now, business is going smoothly. It's like there's people on here actively wanting him to do something, just so they can be proven 'right' and be raging.

It's mad to me that people are trying to shut down any criticism of Lawell getting the job.

He did a lot of good for the club and had a successful period as CEO. But just like players, there comes a time for executives when they start slipping. My opinion is that Lawell should have stuck to his role as Celtic's representative in the European Club Association.

I still blame him for f*cling up 10iar far more than Lennon. Before Lawell signed Shved, none of us would have believed that Lennon could be offered the role of manager in the showers at Hampden and we'd miss out on 10iar. Now people want us to believe that it's beyond the realms of possibility that Lawell, in the highest position of seniority at the club, could ever interfer in transfer matters.

Say what we will about PL transfer dealings, he has a lot of contacts and experience in the business that are useful to us. We no longer need to worry about him getting involved with transfers.
