    What are people basing their high opinion of him on?

    His scoring record doesn’t exactly scream that he’ll take us to the next level.

    I can only assume it’s the fact he started upfront in a World Cup. However, South Korea don’t really have a viable alternative, so it doesn’t say much.

    The (thus far) preferred striker started against Uruguay, and missed the only chance he's had- a big one at that. He was at Olympiakos at that time. Our target overturned a 2-0 lead of Ghana in some 4-5 minutes.

    I wasn't enamoured with this rumour at first but I really want him now.

    We need to replace Giakoumakis with a similar player and I think he fits that bill tbh.

    Not too keen on the other Korean lad we were linked with. Maybe as a 3rd choice, but Cho seems like he can come in and compete right away.
