Gotta agree with last few posts, I'd even shut the page unless something changes, because all we're getting is nonsense from his side upping his profile

Sounds like back tracking to me. He was badly advised but he kept giving it the "I think the Summer will be better for me" lark. Why on earth he thought that was beyond me. If anything the opposite is true, especially when settling in with a club like Celtic.

Compare that to the mentality of Oh who is 3 years younger. Oh jumped at the chance. If Cho did the same he'd be a Celtic player as well.

 

Wonder if he thought he was going to better offers after the WC. Probably seeing Oh doing well now and regretting not moving

 

If he wanted to move he should have pushed for it like Oh. In reality I think he had all this new found fame off the back of the World Cup exposure.

Realistically though I think this came down to his club and senior ex pros advising not to move in the winter window, based on a few top K league players having left for Germany the season before in winter and being back in the K league already (one went to Schalke and the other Hertha Berlin).

He nor his club have started this season well, their fans are calling for their managers head and Cho only has one penalty goal. Unless his form majorly picks up, I doubt we would still be interested come the summer.

 

Surprised at that, thought he'd end up with a bigger team/league, even though he has struggled for form since we were linked with him, mid-table german side or something.

He was never signing for anyone mid season and wasn’t close to joining here.

Anyone who follows any Korean media/tv shows knew it was never happening. He stayed to capitalise on his fame from the World Cup.

The fact Midtjylland seems to be his ‘big move’ tells you what he’s been like since the the WC. Unless he’s suddenly got his head screwed on I don’t see him doing anything in European football.

 

See being honest I feel like we are the winners in all this. We were prepared to pay a bigger fee than his club are now getting and probably a bigger sell on.

We are a far bigger club than Midtjylland and there will be no champions league football for him possibly conference at best as I think they won the bottom half of the league in that peculiar thing they do in Denmark post league split.

His form has fell off a cliff I think he has only scored 2 goals this season and one was a penalty. He was also dropped out the team.

See other than getting his big publicity boost his actual professional football career post World Cup has been trailing negatively. Oh actually seems to be more in favour with Klinsman too for the national team.

It’s also worth remembering he is 25 not some young prospect.

 

According to flashcore he's scored 4 in 11 this year. 4 in his last 8 after the world cup. He missed 10 matches I'm assuming to injury.

Not terrible but obviously not great. Should be interesting to see how he does in Denmark.

I’m. It surprised oh is in favour klingsman probs said to strikers can someone drop out for son …. Now by rights all the players were within their rights not to budge but oh did for greater good for the team can’t see cho being like that at all
