I hope the kid has learnt from it, and I hope in future his girlfriend and mother will keep their traps closed concerning his playing career as they have done the lad absolutely no good at all, that statement fixed a bit of the damage done, but ultimately social media was his downfall, when we now think of Musonda, the first thing that will pop into our heads, wont be the assist against Zenit, but Instagram.

Or it makes a point that players can’t come up here and take a place in the team for granted based on reputation alone.

I’m with the club on this one... no reason to pay big money for the loan fee and wages now Rogic has signed his deal. I’ll be majorly surprised if musonda ever makes the grade at a top club after his poor performances here.

Eh? We had Roberts for 2 and a half years. That’s a little more than your standard loan. I guarantee that we didn’t pay 4-5 mill a season on him or Musonda.

Where did I state we spent 4-5m on each of them? I said both of them together would have cost around that. 2.75m for Paddy this season plus the rumoured 2-3m fee for musonda. Not forgetting that Musonda was on around 30-40k a week here and we paid all his wages. Again roberts was never coming to us on a permanent contract, for man city what is a rumoured 9m to them going to do?

I'm all for loans as long as there is an option to buy, no point bringing in players who don't want to commit to the club and only use our club as a stepping stone. That's one of our clubs attraction for these sort of players, do well in champions league for us and then they get a pathway into a premier league team, that's fine but we need be making money off it not losing it

Definitely an issue with him being hyped from such an early age. At 21 he has only made 39 first team appearances (not even starts) and scored 2 goals.

Yet on Instagram he is talking about documentaries about his life as a 'young footballer' etc etc. Load of balls. Get your head down and play.

Honestly, don't think he realises how lucky he is to have that talent, as he is a very talented player.

Bit of damage control from the boy, IMO. Can just imagine the * * will have been giving him on social media.

I honestly don't give a * about it, but I'd of liked to of seen him stay around for next season. Think we could of used him with Roberts leaving.

He should of been brought in as a winger, not a Rogic competitor. Rogic is the ideal #10 for Scottish fitba - Tall, strong, technically class. Musonda would of been far better out wide, he was slight, but so was Paddy when he first arrived. The physique wasn't a massive problem for me.

I'd imagine that's the case. Might have been worth seeing if he could kick on if we had already committed to the full financial outlay
