The difference in quality with top players is they are so aware of where people are and it was almost like a reflex to pass that to McGregor, one touch to control second to pass it without really even having to think about it, most normal players would have tried to take that in and shoot.

I love the way Charly seemed to celebrate the goal on his own for a short bit!! A young man, full of talent and confidence caught up in the Celtic atmospere, just brilliant , started the move deep in our half.

A wonderful pass I thought. Only bettered by a pass from Evander Sno to Derek Riordan against St Mirren back in 2007, which resulted in a late equaliser in the game at 1-1.

Last night we saw Musonda for what he is though, a big game player. I think in the away leg Musonda could cause Zenit a lot of problems, whether it’s off the bench or starting the game.

His work deep in his own half is every bit as good as the lobbed assist itself.

His composure, coolness and skill under pressure was top drawer. Gifted wee player who just needs to adapt.

Great assist and brilliant wee celebration of the goal.

Reckon this lad will catch the Celtic bug over the 18 months !!

Some of the comments writing this kid off after two games were embarrassing.

Was instrumental in the goal last night, not just the assist but the fantastic footwork down at the half-way line which allowed us to retain possession and then cut them open to set up an attack. That's what real quality does for you.

He will have the same impact Paddy Roberts had. Classy player.

What I liked about that was, by the time cals shot goes in musonda is already at the back post. Didn't just hang around to admire his handiwork.

They looked terrified of him last night.. I see him as the ultimate impact player, when legs are tired he must be a nightmare to play against.

Needs to play out wide so he can get on the ball and not marked out the game. Started that move out left and it resulted in a goal.

He’ll score more from there too.

Fantastic bit of play for the goal. A pass few would have seen. More of the same please. He might be better utilised as an impact player from 60mins onwards in games but prob not what he would want to hear.

The rough edges look like they can be easily coached out of him, which is promising.
