* me, celtic fans agreeing with Charlie Nicholas.... this * site is fast becoming like * sevcomedia; paranoid, spouting pishand now agreeing with a man who even NL acknowledged doesnt give a * about our club.

Get a * grip, all this panic is * embarrassing.

Plus giving these teams our money will improve the quality of the league, give them a chance in Europe and ultimately drive up the coefficient.

hard but fair comments from Charlie. i already said that I'm ignoring all the people jumping on the wagon, but if anyone can't feel the genuine hurt and frustration from the lad in that section then they need their heads checked. id give Diela a window of opportunity, but the rest is right on the money (no pun intended)

Shaunbhoy I totally agree with you. I would add in Scandinavians as well as they tend to fit in well at Celtic also. I have no problem us bringing in a continental or elsewhere player every now and then when our scouts or contacts are very high on a particular player but the focus should be more close to home base I think. Also we should be looking to make sure we keep a core group of key players from those countries so that we always have a strong core to our team. If that means paying a little bit more then do it. Nothing crazy but a little bit more then I think we would not be in the position we are in now. Selling Ledley would be exhibit A for me of a core player that we should have been keeping as a core player. Throw in an extra few thousand a week to those players wages when they have proved themselves and want to stay when coming to the end of their initial contract.
