that much of a leader that he's known to be one of the players along with Commons and Forrest to be a thorn in Ronnys side!! a great pro? not a * chance!!

How this failure is considered a 1st team quality player is beyond me. 1 good season in the Hoops about 4 years ago shouldnt constitute a career here.

I'd say he contributed very well in his first 4 seasons here, this one season wonder is a lot of pish..

And continued to be selected for Scotland.

Always find it amusing that the one season wonder set up the most goals for us on the way to the last 16, amazing thing to do while just being a passenger in the side, with the other 10 players carrying you.

Bitton who slows our play down and nearly always plays the easy pass such a massive breath of fresh air

He is best at centre half and a better option there than Ambrose

Not bitton's fault that nobody ahead of him makes any good runs. Bitton is class. Mildew is howling. Mildew had much better players around him and still looked like a donkey

You seem to really hate Mulgrew despite him being our best player a couple of seasons ago

Absolute utter nonsense.check the facts from the last 4 sessions, as others have mentioned. Charlie has been injured most of this session. Bitton's "class" really shows when we are on the back foot and He starts dwelling on the ball and looses interest. This has happened plenty of times that i can remember, dont get me wrong bitton is a good player, I just think Charlies better.:celt_2:

Bitton's a better footballer, no doubt, Charlie has a better mentality. That comes with experience.

If it's a straight toss up it's not a contest let's be honest, Bitton will be playing every time.

It takes more than 11 of your best players to make up a good squad though. Folk slag the versatility tag but it's an important part of any side. The fact he has experience of playing all over the place is invaluable.

When the chips are down I'd have Mulgrew, Bitton's shown a worrying tendency for the head to go down and get frustrated, sometimes it actually looks like he's trying to get sent off. Which is unacceptable.

Very, very rarely do you see Mulgrew's head go down when it's going against us. Infact his sending off against Rangers is the only time I can remember him losing his head in a situation like that.

You're right in what you're saying but it also takes more than just being a good footballer to be a winner.

I hope we're at least making sort of effort to keep Mulgrew. He's no world beater but he's versatile, he's plenty good enough to be a part of our squad and he's one of us. I don't see any strong argument for letting him go. If we try to keep him but an English club offer him more money and first team football then fair enough, nothing you can do then.

See Brown's lobbying publicly for him to get a new deal. What the * is with Lawwell and players when they get into their peak years? Just sign him up you *. This is a deal that cant go wrong in any way. Even if he never plays he will be cover and he will cost basically * all I hate this * about like.

Wouldn't give Mulgrew another contract to be honest, hasn't earned one in my opinion.
