noticed he passed a few times with his right foot at the game, * *, only took him 15 years of professional football to learn to use his weak foot......how you still get footballers that cant use their weak foot i dont know

Most of them he misplaced. Lost count at the amount of time's he tried to play a casual pass but overran it and swanned off..

Played a belter of a diagonal over for Gms in the second though..

Not keen on him. Offers nothingmuch to the team. I'd let him go end of season

Missed his versatility and experience in his injury plagued season.

Mulgrew is a poor player and brings nothing to the side, what did he bring against the mighty EK? He's bang average barring one stand out season at Center half 4 or 5 seasons ago.

He's still getting back to fitness..

Could have done with his experience several times this season. At CB and at DM..

People moan about not having experienced players with the mentality to play for Celtic. That's exactly what Mulgrew is. One of the few leaders we have on the pitch.

    nahh,

i agree with wolf here, mulgrew needs to be taken out back and put out of his misery, like the carthose that he is.

never rated him from the moment he arrived, just does not add anything to the team apart from brainfarts and poor decision making.

He might have experience but that doesn't change the fact he's a mediocre footballer and he's not much of a leader either walking off against Ajax told me all about his character.

If we're picking players off experience why not get Lennon and Keane back on the pitch and as I've said I don't think Mulgrew is much of leader.

If Mulgrew left tomorrow most Celtic fans wouldn't bat an eyelid and rightfully so.

    Good for you.

Fact is, he is. It's frequently mentioned by the squad and if you've watched much of him that much is obvious that he is on the pitch.

Conspiracy theories about storming off the pitch in a huff aside :52:

I was very critical when he walked off v Ajax but when you look at the amount of time he was out.. I'm happy to admit I got that one wrong.

Nothing wrong in having experience and versatility in our squad, not saying he starts every game, but he knows what it takes to be a Celtic player.

Every manager he has played for rates him.

But I know I'm right and you're wrong on this one so man up and deal with it

a classic journeyman who adds nothing to the team. so refreshing to have bitton, who has technical ability, take his place.
