Last player whose name I had on back of my top.What a chant the GB came up with for him as well.Pure hero of that era.

Good player for us and seems like a good guy too. Wish him the best in retirement.

Was good to watch for us for a few seasons, 2011-2014 he was up there with our best performers. Quality in the air and taking or heading set pieces and playing out from the back back then when it was less popular than now.

A lot of big moments, Cup final freekick, diving header against the huns, the 6-0 game at Kilmarnock we won the League he was like Zidane in that game, took the corner Wanayma scored against Barcelona, scored a corner for us also I seem to recall away to St Mirren or a team like that. Probably the last player we had that scored regular freekicks as well, must have scored around half a dozen or more can only mind Griffiths scoring 2 or 3, Van Dijk I think 2 or 3 and then the odd guy has 1 or 2 - Stokes, Commons, Turnbull and whoever.

A few could benefit from a Mulgrew lesson in dead ball delivery.

I made mention in the match thread there at the weekend about the possibility Celtic have been working on these lately, so wonder if Mulgrew being there has something to do with this?

Would love to see him back at the club. Imagine having him about the place for the banter alone, the players would absolutely love coming in every day.
