    Wow a Celtic team that went on a winning run. That should be a given.

    Robson had 10 good games which helped us to the title agreed. What he do after that?

    Hartley - *!!

    McDonald - 1 good season. 2nd year he scored 19 goals. 19 * goals fir a guy who stood in the penalty box is * shocking return for a Celtic striker. Keane scored 16 in 19 games which says it all bout the gulf in class between Celtic class and spl mediocrity

    how could 19 goals be shocking? it's 1 in every 2 games, that's what top strikers aim for

    tbh honest mate although i rarely agree with him ,i think that was a dissapointment after the first season,i mean fair enough if u do something else like MAF does,but mcdonald really did just waddle around the box his last season and a half

    I agree that he looked less mobile and he didn't hit the heights of the previous season but under no circumstances could a return of 19 goals be called "* shocking"

    True there was a gulf in class between Mcdonald and Keane but how many goals did Keane score against the huns?? Mcdonald 1st season-Cracking season. McDonald- 2nd season-19 goals is a decent return btw Mcdonald did more than just sit in a penalty box..soon as JVOH was * and left he was having to come deeper and deeper for the ball..FACT!

    This doesn't mean we have to settle for duds like mulgrew. He can't even get in a Scotland squad that includes * like danny fox, kirk broadfoot and steven halfwittiker.

    steven whittaker aint bad tbh,broadfoot wont be in the squad anytime soon, and danny fox only really got in cause he played for celtic,trust me if mulgrew joins and plays he'll be in the scotland soon,along with wallace

    2nd season 46 games 19 goals. 1 in 2??? Aye good maths

    John Hartson, " if your a striker for Celtic and your not scoring AT LEAST 20 a season your not doing your job".

    Just about sums him up.

    Let's not forget he had 1 of the worst 1st touch's iv ever seen for a Celtic player, or the fact after a good 1st season his ego, waistline and * doubled in size, or in his last season he was clearly a disruptive influence.

    What a pro and truely celtic class

    Keane 99 caps 43 goals

    McDonald 16 caps 0 goals

    bearing in mind Keane's have came against the likes of France, Italy, Germany while McDonald plays against football giants like Bahrain, new Zealand and North Korea.

    One is Celtic class the other plays for a pishy team in the championship

    Start moaning mate if we only sign one left back. ffs we have not got a left back in the squad, if we sign mulgrew as back up on a free, big deal.

    We will sign alot better players that him this summer. :50:

    one more time I'll even put it in bold for you AT LEAST 20 that means 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 30 do I need to continue or are you learning???

    For a striker like him who done * all other than stand around the penalty box (he didn't work the channels or link play - tough task for a player with a first touch like a * lamppost) 30 is a realistic target hence why his 1st season was a success. But again as I said he was never gonna reach that target again due to his total lack of proffessionalism by allowing himself to put on AT LEAST (there's that phrase again in bold for you) a stone in weight

    Mate knowing our board as well as we do do you really think we'll sign 2 LB? Cheap option and bare minimum is there style

    and that takes me back to my original point. Guys like McDonald were they best players at their SPL clubs and are still below Celtic class. Mulgrew isn't even the best player at a dreadful Aberdeen side so how is he ever gonna be good enough for Celtic?

    The only other club that appears to be in for him is Sheffield Utd. Is that our level now competing with Sheffield Utd for freebies from Aberdeen?

    either way your criticism is clearly well over the top, there have been many worse players than him playing for us recently

    Disagree he was right up there with the worst of them. We lost a title to a dreadful rangers team while he was our main striker and i can't think of anyone else wit a worst 1st touch or who put on over a stone on the space of a summer or who was leaking stories to the press or who was a disruptive influence in the dressing room

    Agree with everything you said in that post Ryan mate, this calibre of players sinply wont do, how can we qualify from the CL with players who simply cant defend?

    that is suc an over exagerration. The guy scored in the big games when we needed him most. To say he's up there with the worst is just stupid
