    Very mature so you are.

If you accept average, mediocre, limited ability players( If that ) in a Celtic shirt then that's up to you.

The poor players some Celtic supporters put up with these days is heart-breaking. :icon_sad:

:56: You said laugh all I like so I am.

You want Rogic, McGregor, Henderson, McGeouch and Bryson in our team but yet want Internationals and Champions League players out because they are mediocre.

Lets try and qualify for the Champions League with

    Forster
    Lustig Ambrose Van Dijk Izaguirre
    Henderson
    McGeouch Bryson McGregor
    Rogic
    Watt

Absolute hero. Coming in for plenty of stick this season, no idea why. 6 assists and 6 goals wither it be from center back, holding midfield or left back is excellent - better than Pukki & Balde and he's been playing the other side of the park.

Hopefully get him and Izaguirre to stay here till they retire.

I like the guy and he is a good player for us, my problem is I cant stand him in midfield so my issues is more with lenny for playing him there. player of the year in defence so lenny decides to put him in midfield :97: also van dijk and ambrose are probably better midfields then him.... maybe haha

for me his best position is centre back

I love him in midfield, his passing range is excellent. Also like it when we let him off the leash a little and let him get into the box, he's an excellent finisher when given the chance.

Pretty sure our two best games of the season were with Mulgrew pulling the strings in midfield?

Celtic are a better team when Mulgrew is in it.

In the SPFL he's fine in midfield. Europe = dross

    This for me to.

He's painfully slow on the European scene to play central midfield.

Mulgrew is a decent squad player for us as he is very adaptable in different positions but I think some people really overestimate his quality.

I don't agree with that at all and his stats in Europe back that up as well, he's always one whose had most successful passes, tackles, interceptions. Just as long as we don't ask him to try and fly up and down the wing all day he's excellent at the job he does in there.

He was absolutley superb in that position against Barcelona at Celtic Park this year and he was in there himself for a good ten minutes after Broony go sent off.

I like him in the centre of midfield. I just think he lacks too much pace to play left midfield or left back. I think he's OK at CB as long as accompanied by someone really rapid like Ambrose. I like him best in a Veron type role, though. I genuinely think he has the skills and awareness to do that in Europe.

He looks slow and cumbersome in Europe in midfield. Should be playing in the centre of defence when it comes to Europe, if anywhere.

Since when was pace essential to playing in the centre of the park? Pirlo, Viera, Deschamps, Keane...

They read the game rather better than Charles :smiley-laughing002:

He's slow on the ball, the others weren't.
