Missed him big time. When he had a spell out earlier in the season we were shocking too.

Could have done with a level head in the middle of the park today. Charlie would have provided that. He usually gets a goal against that scum as well.

Hindsight is wonderful though. I guess the way it panned out, we could have had Mulgrew sitting in front of the defence in place of Samaras, with Commons/Stokes wide. Going defensively like that at home in a cup game wouldn't have gone down well but looking on the game and how it went, he would have covered the forward runs of Brown/Johansen, added a bit more protection in front of the defence, we would have had another target for set pieces, a player in the middle of the park with a good range of passing and an experienced player for us in these types of pressured games.

Aye we missed him big time I'd say.

    Hindsight eh

Would Mulgrew have been intimidated the way Brown and Johansen were?

Think we did miss Charlie today, don't think Sammy would have played if he'd been fit.

If Charlie Mulgrew is the answer to our problems then we really are screwed.

The only reason I think Mulgrew would have made a difference is because Samaras wouldnt have played.

Mulgrew is vital to opening teams up. He is constantly spreading and switching the ball, making the opposition run and stretching their defence and midfield.

Still set up our goal though.
When was his last assist for us?

No one said that, all that was said was that he may have made a difference today.

Jesus Finny, do you like ANY of our midfielders?

Will reserve further judgement over Biton and Johansen. Would be happy to see Brown, Forrest, Mulgrew, Boeriggter and Kayal leave tbh.

See what Liam Henderson, Tom Rogic, Dylan McGeough and Callum McGregor can bring to the team next season and maybe sign a couple other midfielders. Like Craig Bryson at Derby or Snodgrass at Norwich.

Laugh all you like but those players I've said we should move on bring nothing to the team in the long-term. They're not good enough, as was evident this season in Europe which is where we should be setting the bar to perform better at, with these players I've mentioned they will only hinder us and be a liabilty.
