You have to cancel it! If not it could lead me to violence! I can't control myself! They really are a complete * embarrassment.

Well I tell you * what.

Let's do the same thing on here the next time that shower of * want to batter down our * streets with their stupid big drums, ulster trackies and ugly * buckie-fuelled coupons.

Let's send complaints to all of our councils every time a walk is planned and see if the gutless * will cancel a few of them 'in the interests of public safety'.

Celtic fans can't have a party in an enclosed arena, yet these inbred * can walk, * and curse down public streets, banging big * drums and singing sectarian songs with police protection whenever they feel like it?

    Not * on, so angry I'm * shaking .... :47:

Unfortunately I dont have specific costs for Orange parades in South Lanarkshire, but i have in my possession the Strathclyde police Territorial policing Loyalist parade review for August 2010.

This all comes under The Civic Government (S) Act 1982.

In it are three noteworthy Loyalist parades:

    Saturday 03 July 2010- Glasgow 'A' and 'B' Division
    Cost: £503,141
46 Arrests, 121 fixed penalty notices
    Outward- 24 parades
    Main - 1 parade
    Return - 19 parades

    Saturday 03 July 2010 - Greenock 'K' Division
    Cost: £40,454
3 arrests 10 fixed penalty notices
    Outward - 9 parades
    Main - 1 parad
    Return - 5 parades

    Saturday 10 july 2010 - Lanarkshire 'N' division
    Cost £324,685
6 arrests, 74 fixed penalty notices
    Outward - 8 parades
    Main - 1 parade
    Return - 9 parades

It also mentionsthroughout the legislative framework about the rights to Freedom of Assembly as well as the Freedom of Assembly and Association...the latter being that 'Everyone has the right to freedom of peaceful assembly and to freedom of association with others.

This includes the freedom to hold public or private meetings, demonstrations rallies and sit-ins, WITHOUT INTERFERENCE FROM THE STATE......this may include a positive obligation from the State to ensure that demonstrators are protected from counter-demonstrators trying to prevent their demonstration."

Basically as the CATB function was a private function in a fully-licensed venue, the council had absolutely no grounds to forcably cancell the venue because of a level of threats of violence!

And if local council and/or policing divisions had reason to believe any threats were genuine, then it was their duty of care and protection to offer said protection to said venue.

I'm still trying to work out how CATB make a living out of being particulary poor singers.
Do they sound a lot better if your out your face on cheap tonic wine?

Doesn't say a lot for CATB's management picking the Civic hall as a venue.
Rebel nights in council run buildings are wide open to being banned once Dingwall and his gang hear about it.
