There is absolutely no way that they had 90% of the ball, that is clearly bull *. Something like 75% would be more reasonable.

They were always going to have major possession and it doesnt really mean anything as we set our stall out to try and hold out and just failed. Had we have held on for the draw nobody would have cared if we had 5% possession. On the other hand we were very poor in possession and our whole midfield were very wasteful and Hooper didnt have a great game holding up and keeping a hold of the ball. Defo something we need to improve on.

 

As I said, we're normally good or certainly far better than that with the ball. Barca just drained all our belief becuase they are so incredible in possession.
We lost the ability to make simple passes, that break which eventually led to our goal was a terrible ball from Ledley who is normally our best passer.

 

i think they averaged 34 passes before shooting..

sometimes i think Celtic are guilty of too many passes in domestic games...

look on the bright side of these statistics...

10 % (!?) possession and 1 goal...

now if we can get 30 or 40 % in the return leg we should be due 3 or 4 goals

( one can but hope / dream )

I'm a wee bit disappointed we didn't have a super dooper world record for least possession, the zombies have been breaking records left right and centre this season, it would have been nice to join the party

and what are you going to do about this i have heard all the CELTIC till i die * and true support, but i ant heard didly * *, from no * on here, about the rags being out of order. i would expect all the Celtic family on here start to defend us.
