Looking at the league tables just now. Top 2 in each:

    FC Porto
    Paris Saint Germain
    Arsenal
    Schalke 04
    Málaga
    AC Milan
    Real Madrid
    Borussia Dortmund
    Chelsea
    Shakhtar Donetsk
    BATE Borisov
    Bayern Munich
    FC Barcelona
    Celtic
    Manchester United
    CFR Cluj

I wouldn't be surprised if that's the last 16 you're looking at right there. Let's hope so. :celt_2:

I voted 1 but I also think we could possibly sneak a win at paradise especially with barcas defensive problems

I voted 0, I don't think we are on the same planet as them.

Reckon if Barca have some sort of an off night coming intae CP we could maybe capitalise by snatching a pt. Maybe.

3 points. At Celtic Park we can beat anyone including Barcelona. :84:

And Barcelona might have all but qualified before we play them at home.

There is no chance we are beating Barcelona, home or away.

It would be a minor miracle if we snatched a point at home and, in all honesty, that may very well be enough. Our 2 biggest games now are Benfica away and ultimately Spartak at home, if we took 4 points from those I'd imagine we'd qualify.

Connect the dots, the pathway to qualification is clear. Beat Spartak at home, draw with Barca at home, and draw with Benfica away = 9 points.
    That will do :50:

I would be delighted with a point from the Barca games but I do think we might sneak a win. Spartak almost beat them at the Nou Camp so why can`t we get something from the games? The atmosphere could scare the * out of the Barca players

I think we'll draw at home, most likely 1-1, the nou camp is a different beast all together tho, I've got my ticket and hope we can pull something out the hat but if I'm honest I'll not be to upset if they beat us

Puyol will be out, which is a shame because McGeady used to run rings round him and I think Forrest or Sammy could do the same.

Would be chuffed out my tiny wee mind with a point against Barcelona over the 2 games. This side is the biggest test in World Football and it's going to take a massive effort in both ties.

We have picked up a good wack of points and hope that even if we don`t get any points in these games; the performances are of a high standard and keep up the positive displays shown so far. Playing Barcelona once is bad enough but back to back games is a big ask.

You just know if we do manage to grab a point over there the return leg will be phenomenal. The players need fear nobody because they have already proven that on their day they can win games-no matter who it is against.

Exciting times ahead and I'm one of thousands I'm sure who are glad they managed to get a 3 match package.

if barca win in nou camp they only need a point at paradise to secure qualification...they have been known to rest (and drop points) players late on in the CL groups.

It may be vital picking up points if we get beaten in lisbon for last 16 qualification.

2 drab 0-0 draws in the Benfica-Spartak double header would be just what the doctor ordered, then whatever happens in the 2 legs against Barca, we'd still be sitting 2nd.

I'm definitely confident we can take at least a point off Barca though, at home or away. We've drew with them twice over there before and if we keep it tight why can't we do it again? And obviously at CP we can give anybody a game.

Congest the game by playing in our own half shuting down space , ready to break onto them with pace , sammy and forrest , hooper lone striker , fresh legs at 60 min miku for hoops ,feel we may have a chance this way , if by any chance a miracle happens and we get a point away ,same tactics at home

An interesting fact is that Barcelona have never won 6 out of 6, they always seem to let it go a bit in one of the group games at least, i.e. against Copenhagen, Rubin, the Glasgow club no longer in existence etc etc.

Don't get me wrong I don't expect anything out of either of the Barca games but with a massive bit of luck at home, and a full house behind the team you never know.

The big game for us is Moscow at home IMO, win that one and we'll have Europe after Christmas, given the team we have and the group we are in that's all we could have asked for and would be a fine achievement in our first CL campaign as a team under Lennon.

The future's Green & White for sure.
