    Getting our home game against barca as our last match would be ideal, they would already be through and would give us our best chance of taking points off them. Pretty happy with this draw, especially when you look at group D, what a group that is!

    Tough group, home form will be key! I've been to Barcelona and Benfica and was fancying an away trip, can't see Moscow being affordable :-( little disappointed I'd have also liked teams we've not faced in a while.
    That said I'm still buzzing from just being in the group stages!

    If we can be as good at home as we were under MON and WGS then we have a chance. But we need at least 7 points from the home games.

    Realistically speaking, Celtic would be doing extremely well to finish 3rd in this group. To finish 2nd would be a major miracle and would only enhance NL's reputation further.

    It's all to play for. Benfica and Spartak are tough games but we can beat them both at home, with a bit of luck. The away form has been good.

    2 wins and 2 draws is what we need to aim for. Real Madrid ran over the top of Barca's a total right off. You need to press their defense, nobody does it. It'll be damage limitation on that one, but at home anything can happen.

    It's an easy group for Barca, between us, Benfica and Spartak it'll be close.

    I knew McGeady would be coming home. Should make things interesting.

    Happy with the draw. Nothing is expected so we roll in as underdogs.

    Overall. Think we all need to be glad we avoided group D. Look forward to playing Barca and seeing McGeady back at Paradise.
    Realistically, I think the best we can get here is 3rd place and even that will take a fair bit of luck.

    3rd would be a really good achievement, 2nd place is unrealistic and some people are over optimistic. Our squad is not better than any of those teams and we desperately need better quality if we have any chance of finishing 3rd never mind higher up.

    I think we have a decent chance of qualifying from this group in 2nd place behind barcelona as i think you would go through on 8 or 9pts so if we could beat benfica & spartak at home and possibly even beat spartak away as although i havent seen much of them i would fancy us to beat them if we play to our capabilities :50:
