Not really, you need 8 club/association trained players in the 25. Even if you left out Montgomery you still couldn't include Holm.Sean Treacy, adequate citizen Zenon and tuna_matata like this.

Midfield looks light. Which makes it interesting that Nawrocki and Yang made it in ahead of Holm

No great surprise Holm isn’t in. He was competing with Nawrocki, Yang and Palma for the last 3 spots. With young Turley available to be our sixth midfielder we should be fine there.

Makes sense now, especially since theirs been no sign of Montgomery for ages.Lupis likes this. -
Seems light on numbers in midfield, would have put Holm in instead of Yang to make it 6 and 6 instead of 5 and 7.
Need to get some proper home grown talent instead of space fillers like Montgomery
Otherwise, as expected. -
Seems daft to pick a 5th centre back and 5th winger ahead of a 6th centre mid.

Turley can step in as 6th midfielder, and I think that's the intention. -
That's quite promising, if that is the thinking.

You don't need 8, but those slots are reserved for club/ nation trained.
4 slots club, 4 nation 17 other. All club trained are nation trained but not the other way around. -
No Holm to go is interesting considering he was in the CL squad last season. That is very symbolic to me.NakamuraTastic likes this. -
