Yes you beat Schalke at home but what was the away result again?

    Was it 6:1 ?:bbpd:

So, IF we beat either f these teams, what calibre of team are we likely to face in the final qualifying round?

roughly the same standard of team, could be teams like zagreb, helsinsborg, partizan belgrade, zilina, cluj etc

Cheers! Of course we don't consider Celtic an easy draw, not at all. I think everyone sees you as the favourites. But as I mentioned, especially Basel have been very solid in their euro games and Dinamo too whereas you had some unexpected difficulties which, we hope, are to be continued. :86:

On the other hand, we have had a rather good track record against the British teams both with the Finnish National Team and the club teams.

    Interesting - yet potentially scary.

Bangor City & Celtic are in different worlds in terms of ability. I can assure anyone that we will not be beaten 13-0...

Main thing is to score 3 or 4 at home.

I'm sure we are at home first, so it's important to bang 3, 4 or more in against your team. Also important not to underestimate anyone. Looking forward to it, I see your team sing Just Can't get enough too? Steal it from us, by any chance ;-)?

Sion are arguably much better than Helsinki

Sion only avoided relegation last year by winning a relegation pay-off match 3-1 on aggregate. =I'd say they're roughly on a par with Helsinki.

Edit: My mistake, Sion would have finished 3rd in the league had they not been deducted 36 points. :56: Sion are much better than Helsinki, one would think :50:

I'd say to anyone who thinks we are going to win this at a canter, to give themselves a right good slap.

Meanwhile, back in Scotland, Scotland's newest club "The Rangers" found out their first ever League Cup opponents, East Fife, a club who will soon be celebrating 110 years of history. :50:

Possibly the most difficult opponent we could've had.

    Cheers Platini, ya *.

Could've had Molde or Limassol, they're MUCH better than Helsinki

I think the draw is quite decent for us as someone said above Solskjaers Molde would indeed be a tough opponent. We should progress this round quite comfortable in theory... but then again things go our way in Europe.
