I am so nervous about conceding that I would nearly take a nil all draw! I know we can score over there, I do not have the same confidence in keeping a clean sheet tomorrow night. If Bitton is named in the team I will need a truck load of valium and a lorry load of Guinness.
It seems so obvious to say, but an early goal would be magic followed by 80 minutes of keep ball and taking any serious chances that come our way.

Astana are definitely an upgrade on Rosenberg and they are dangerous going forward, but their defence is there for the taking, from what I can make out.I doubt a 0-0 draw is any good for us given Astana's formidable home record, we will need better than that

Some of the pumpings Astana have received on the road since we last played them to calm the nerves. Worked for me.

2-0 or 3-0 would have me hard until Kazakhstan. Griff and big TAAAAM to score, wildcard Jonny Hayes might get on the scoresheet as well and win over the haters.

 

Mokin (regular gk), Maevski (key mf) and Murtazaev (back up fw) were injured until recently, but they are fit for this match. Anicic (the most consistent defender) is not fit, and last season's top scorer Despotovic is out for sure, but he didn't play much this season. Also, I hope their best striker in recent years Twumasi (scored 3 of 5 club goals in four European games and scored 9 goals from 13 league games he started this season) won't do his best after Astana blocked his transfer to Turkey a few days ago.
