7-8m should be sent on the team which is nothing to us just now.

 

To be fair the dead club going bang will have had a huge affect on some spl clubs.....just not us.:icon_mrgreen:

 

As long as it isn't spread out on 4 or 5 players. I'd rather £7-8m was spent on 2 quality players.

 

So we have banked 16mil before a ball is kicked in the groups.

We had 40k at Elfsborg game = 600k approx
Had 51k at Shakthar game= 800k approx

With season ticket holders being charged £84 x 42000(approx) for matchday package we are looking at =3.5mil approx

General sale tickets being charged at £115x18000 matchday package we are looking at =2 million approx

So on gate receipts we are talking around 6.9mil however maybe take off around 1mil for concession rates etc but even still that's another 6mil banked.

So we are 22 million richer still before a ball is kicked and with 840k for a group victory and 500k for a draw (say we get for example 7 points)that's another 2.1mil in the coffers.

So all included we are looking at making just over 24mil.

Guys, you do know that unlike some other clubs that used to exist a lot of this will be tax that we will actually have to pay.

I have no idea how much, other than roughly 20% of all ticket sales go in VAT. But there will be more on top of that.

Didnt realise that to be honest,that'll knock a few million of our warchest,sure we will make it up on merchandising or something though.
