    Ffs sean relax and enjoy it m8 ..The hard work has been done and the money to ensure domestic success is in the bank , anything else is a bonus !! Even when we've had better teams or easier groups we still only made the last 16; once ?!! Yeah its a tough group but from when mon was manager only 2 teams have managed to come away from celtic park with a win in the group stages ( barca and milan) , and both have been dealt with as well !! So enjoy it ffs who knows how these teams will handle the heat !!

    People saying for weeks, we really really need to qualify for the group stages, we need to be in there where we belong with europes elite. We finally scrape through, giving everyone heart attacks. And now they are saying, well, not THAT elite, i kinda meant, like, the weakest of the elite :87:

    Well of course you're not going to debate me on the numbers, because your past statements are indefensible given the numbers.

    Also no need to misrepresent me or attempt to change your argument now. I have only responded to your earlier statements that we should aim to get "tested against the very best" during the group stage and that we should desire the "most glamorous group".

    As I noted, there are millions of reasons we should want the best chance of progressing in Europe, especially since progressing means we'll be "tested against the very best" regardless.

    3 times out of 8 GS appearances actually, under the current format.

    I know we just came out of an era of total incompetence under RD and haven't been in the CL GS for a while, but not sure we need such revisionist history to lower our expectations. :icon_mrgreen:
