Matthews' delivery has been appalling.

Bit more confidence as the game goes on i'd expect and hopefully a couple of chances we can tuck away..

 

I truly * despair when I read posts like this. We are playing away to the 2nd most successful team in the EC/CL's history and we are controlling most of the game.

Although his final ball has not been great Matthews is there to track back as well and the lad has not stopped running all * night. Compare that to Sammy on the other side and you'll get a better picture of what is going on.

 

Time for reflection for a lot of our players. The likes of Adam Matthews, in particular. He hasn't played badly, per se. He's just so amazingly talented, I think he's surprising himself by how well he's succeeding at this level.

The Milan defence can't cope with him. If he makes the most of his space and pace, we'll be rich with opportunities. And come head with their scalps!

yeah man brown a good few times had loads of space 25-30 yards from their goal a postition sureley made for a strike at goal and he kept pushing the ball wide

thats the bad side of his game unfortunately

 

Only disappointments so far is sammy in a lazy mood and matthews delivery other than that were doing well , milan are there for the taking would replace matthews with derk for his pace and delivery

 

very good display so far, milan will be much better 2nd half you would imagine, would like to see boe and pukki at some stage.

Na, Milan are not playing well we need to take our chance while we have it ,the extra 2 points a win would bring could make a huge difference

 

Good 1st half,bit worried about the left hand side their getting two on one with Izzey,Samaras not tracking back,have ago last 10-15mins

 

Really happy with the first half performance. Keep it up in the second half and get a goal.

Matthews could be better when he gets into them positions.

 

Milan have been awful and we have been not great. Should be getting them on the ropes more as theyre there for the taking. We have been poor in the final 3rd as many have said, if we dont get an early goal I can see them sneaking it

 

Think it's a guarantee we will see both of them at some stage. Derk could really get at these down the right hand side. Reckon he will get about half an hour
