The only thing is, I don't think we will be as comfortable defensively if Derk comes on....Matthews has been doing well tracking back

 

we sure had lots of half-scoring chances

but where were the key passes,the last pass

yeah your right they have looked more dangerous but we have had a lot infact more of the ball than them some really awfull wide play on the right from us as far as crossing is concerned

i think we have had about 10 open chances for good crosses in that first half and they have all been utter * balls

it be dodgy as * now taking mathews off and putting derk on as we'd be a defender down and milan will get better i fear we might have missed out chance this game, if only neil had been a little braver and started with derk instead of mathews

 

Solid first half there, good periods of sustained possession, Matthews needs to improve his final ball, got in some great positions but his final ball was lacking. Looked solid enough at the back Milan have had tons of shots from distance nothing more.

Hopefully we can get something positive out of the game don't want any gallant loser
stuff!

 

Matthews have so much space on the right...their left back is constantly missing....Boerrigter should be brought on....

Playing well just need abit more on the final third,Matthews final ball everytime ha been terrible tonight considering the space and great runs he's making..

Think big Derk will be on before long,this game is tailor made for him the way the Milan defence is sitting off his pace an directness along with final ball could be the one tonight..

Defensively good and although they've had a couple of good chances we look comfortable..

100% mate my feeli8ngs exactly, that mob cant surely play as badly the 2nd half, if i was lennon a would be getting 2 men up front with derk on that wing, they look scared a us

 

I think we have done well but not brilliantly. I think if we play to our best and Milan keep playing the way they have been playing we could actually win this game. Milan seem to be happy to let us have the ball and when they do I wish we would calm down a bit and be patient. No need to rush it which it what we are doing.

A lot to be positive about so far.

 

i'd still settle for a draw.

 

Has Stokes ever scored from cutting in on his right. Done brilliant to get into that's position though and he's playing quality!

We're doing well. Need to keep our defensive shape slightly better and test their goalkeeper. We've overcooked thing going forward at times. Sammy, commons, mulgrew and stokes should be looking to get shots away when they can.

 

Happy with first half. Wish Matthews had a bit more belief attacking. Very poor decision making. Would had liked to see Forrest get that much space.

Can see Milan sneaking it 1-0. We've played well but some are going overboard, we haven't tested Abbiati at all.
