Pleased with that. The only team that didn't underestimate us last year (though their fans more than made up for that) was Juve...and look what happened there. :54:

Can't see Barça underestimating us again, though- they'll be out for revenge. Think we're * in the Barça games.

I wouldn't really say Barcelona underestimated us last year. We played to our strengths, defended superbly, had a keeper in great form, and most importantly, we had the little bit of luck required to beat any top team.

Our tactics for the Barca games will be simple though: more of the same from last year. Let them pass it sidewards and backwards 50,000 times, we just have to be merciless when we get our own chances (as we were last year). This could become an infamous statement, but I don't see Barcelona giving us a real hammering (3 goal win or more) in either game.

That as well I suppose. I wouldn't say Barca underestimated us however.

What are AC Milan's injury problems?

I think we'll get a draw away in Milan. I personally think the team is stronger this year despite being less clinical. Pukki will be the difference. We need him up top if going 1 up. Anyone else we will find it hard to hold the ball up.

No way of know that yet bud.

Need to see how he slots into the team first. I wouldn't risk him v Milan unless he looks quality v Hearts.

For Milan, I'd have no qualms about playing Balde up top on his own, or Balde and Stokes.

I've seen him alot bat, it's not like he's an unknown to me. We have a limited pool of strikers and of all them I would entrust the lone role only to pukki.

Personally I'd rather play 4411 and have stokes right on his * but I doubt we will.

I've seen him at him mostly for hjk and shalke, and a few national games. For me he is much more suited to a physical game and I think he'll adapt here easy.

He's got a decent touch, is intelligent and very strong. He has all the attributes that will make him dangerous. He gets the head up too.. Very unselfish player imho.

I can see the likes of commons and Forrest benefiting greatly. ;) and I can see pukki improving massively if he isn't just making up the numbers like he's done in most previous teams he's played for.

We'll see, but players like the two I mentioned and possibly brown and ledley will definitely benefit and score more goals.

You say your team is understimate but on your forum i see especially that Milan is understimate. I can understand that you believe in your team and you have quality. But you seems to Forget that you're playing Milan , not Helsinborg or Aberdeen. If we , i speak of Milan, play at our Level, There should be no problem to beat you. I predict a 2-0 or 3-1.

Nobody denies that, we just hope our team makes sure you can't play at that level against us.

It's not underestimating, it's just optimistic.

Can't argue with that to be fair. Milan are a much better side than us, and we will need a superb performance to get anything on the night.

If we play like we did at Spartak Moscow last season then you never know...

    Good man :50:

Do not mistake under-estimating for a lack of fear.

You may be the illustrious AC Milan, but we have beaten you in the past, and we've beaten better than you. It is US who should not be under-estimated.

Anything we get out of this is a bonus imo, can only see Milan winning.
