I really hope Lennon see's thay Sammy can only play wide left and Mulgrew can only play as a holding midfielder. Wouldn't throw Biton in at the deep end but i had hoped he would of played at the weekend there to possible play himself into contention but WP never went through. Mark my words this boy will be another gem, watched his highlights for City and he never put a foot wrong!

Joe Ledley (first choice central midfielder) and James Forrest (winger, although not always first choice - he probably wouldn't have started this game anyway).

I think/hope we will line up like this:

    Forster
    Lustig Ambrose Van Dijk Izaguirre
    Brown Mulgrew
    Boerigter Commons Samaras
    Stokes

Now i know derk isn't at his best on the right but we could get him and sammy to maybe even swap and keep milan guessing.

When we don't have the ball commons can drop in and make the midfield a trio.

I think we need to give a message that we won't be the whipping boys, that we can go to milan we can cause them some problems in defence. Derk and sammy can give us out balls on the flanks with pace, commons and stokes can link up together and see if they can provide that creative spark.

I think we might see him feature - maybe from the bench. I've high hopes for him too.

so how did the formation chanced after Commons was substituted
for Pukki in the last game

Stokes,Pukki and Samaras played at the same time
    rest of the game

->Samaras gave a long ball -> Stokes gets it ->
-> Stokes waltzing forwards-> marvelous pass to Pukki -> Pukki
    right time header ->goal

What was the team? And do you think he's talking * and throwing in a few surprises? Seems * stupid otherwise.

Basically just a flat front two of Stokes & Pukki. Even though to me both like to drop deep and pull wide leaving one of them in the box.
That's what happened when we had both Hooper and Stokes play. Hoops liked to drop deep then make his move into the box while Stokes would pull wide and basically set him up

Managers naming their team the day before the game is one of my pet hates in football, so * pointless

Can't wait for tomorrow night. We're starting to thrive on these big occasions and I think we'll give them a good game.

    Cheers :50:

He does this at times but he did it today because there's no one else he could actually pick if he wanted to given the situation with injuries for us

Few managers have done it in the past and almost every time it comes back to bite them on the *. I can remember Mourinho doing it actually, he was probably trying to make the opposition manager think he was double bluffing but anyway, he ended up losing the match.

Closer we get to the game more I think we have a superb chance tomorrow. Which is par for the course being a Celtic fan I suppose :56:

I think we have a great chance tomorrow. My optimism is actually making me nervous though. We're still underdogs but, Balotelli aside, that teams doesn't really put the fear into me. Coupled with Milan's recent home record, I think we're in with a shout - it's up to us.

Getting excited in a weirdly and uncharacteristically optimistic way.

    This won't do at all.

Up to you? No, i don't think so. We Will lack creativity but even with half of our team injured There is still enough to win this game.

Aye, no bother. You're not in the least bit arrogant, are you? :smiley-laughing002: I hope we give you a right good skelping.

I actually meant "it's up to us" to play well and give ourselves a chance of getting a result.

Your team is hilariously average, by the way, considering the money you've had at your disposal.
