I think he's a doubt. He's travelling I think but I'm not sure

 

Either Sky or BBC said he is fit and that Ledley is a big doubt against Milan.

 

Let's hope Matthews is indeed fine. I was worried when he was injured Saturday.

 

I'm desperately hoping Stokes and Pukki start together.

Aye, think you're correct. Think I saw somewhere that Lennon said Matthews was fit. (Celtic twitter perhaps?)

 

With Ledley out I think that's forced us to go more attacking and Stokes will start.

 

I cant see pukki starting but think stokes deserves a chance. I find with Lennon that the team is always unpredictable and theres usually a we surprise or shock in the team.

 

There's virtually no way we're going to the San Siro playing two forward men.

 

The other option of course, is Kayal. I think had Ledley been fit, we would have seen Mulgrew holding, with Brown and Ledley playing at centre mid. So with that in mind, Kayal would be the most obvious replacement. But it depends on what Lennon wants to do. He might decide on playing more attacking now, and we could well see Commons, Samaras, Boerrigter & Stokes all in the same team.

 

Kayal is injured.

 

Is he still out. I didn't know that to be fair. Well in that case, it's either Biton (highly unlikely), or we go more attacking. I think we should have a go.

Ledley's a massive miss if it's true he won't make it. I would've been very happy with Ledley/Broony/Chico sitting in the middle of the park, but without him, we seem a bit exposed. We can't afford that in the San Siro in my opinion. I'd rather we went for a 4-5-1, with Commons being an advanced midfielder, and Matthews on the right with Sammy on the left. Matthews would provide good cover, but I'd only want him playing if he's fully fit.

 

Or he could play Brown and Mulgrew at centre mid;
move Efe up to play as a holding/defensive midfielder;
move Lustig at center back (partnering Virgil); and
play Matthews as a right full back.

 

Matthews is a doubt as well I think.
