I have a feeling we could sneak a result.

I thought he was the weak link in that game as well but AC Milan kind of did what Celtic did against them that season; choked there possession in the middle and allowed them to play down the wing. What they did different was keep trying to play it down the middle instead of actually trying to play out wide with us (which eventually seen Messi getting moved to his old position of left wing where Matthews absolutely bossed him)

I know being a Milan fan you've seen Constant far more often than me but for me the times I've seen him he's just been an utter bombscare. I wouldn't be worried facing him anyway.

Put it this way, De Sciglio is a far superior player and it's nothing but a bonus for us it is between Urby and Constant. I think it'll be Urby that gets the shout though, if you are playing counter attacking he can stretch us.

going to be a tough game, expect to lose but hope to win, milan drew all three home games last year in the group stages, a repeat of this along with us winning our home games would be good for qualification

    agree.

But i also think that Milan is not playing his best fitba at the moment - so with a good performance from our bhoys we can go home with at least one point. We'll see.

They drew against Malaga and Anderlecht. Zenit beat them 1-0 in the San Siro. They were pretty poor at home in the CL last season bar the result against Barcelona.

If Anderlecht can get something then we should be able to as well. We are very similar to Anderlecht in terms of quality.

Yeah no doubt that as just an individual he would get skinned against Barca.

You shouldn't be worried facing Urby either. Defensively is where they are both liabilities but as I said, for me Constant is the lesser of 2 evils considering De Sciglio is out and we have no choice but to pick one of the 2. Sport Mediaset is predicting that Constant could start, they usually have a good accuracy with their line-up predictions so we'll see

He's the only one from the injury list who hasn't been completely ruled out of the game, but if he's borderline we could have him sit this out because of Napoli coming up on Sunday as well

I think if he does start it looks like you're going to let us take the game to you. Would the fans in the San Siro be happy with that or if it's a 0-0 by half time would the crowd get annoyed?

Aye, we have 14 players deserving of a start really so 3 cant play. Don't know what 3 i'd leave out. Izzy probably for Mulgrew. Maybe leave out Matthews since he got a knock at the weekend. Then its a toss up between who misses out, out of Stokes, Pukki and Boerrigter.

That's ruling out Biton, Kayal, Forrest, Rogic and Balde, if any of them hit form then Lenny will be going off his nut trying to pick a team.

    Forster
    Matthews
    Lustig
    Ambrose
    Van Dijk
    Mulgrew
    Izaguirre
    Brown
    Ledley
    Commons
    Samaras
    Boerrigter
    Stokes
    Pukki

If we win, it does not matter to anyone how we played and what approach we took. Winning is always first and foremost, especially in Italy, how it comes about is irrelevant.

I think if we are losing/drawing at the 70th minute there will be unrest in the stadium. But no one will panic if it's still 0-0 at HT

Funny that but of it's the other way round, us sitting back at Parkead and letting you play then if it was 0-0 at half time the fans would get very antsy.

Even with the gulf of class.

We're screwed. Wolfgang Stark is refereeing.

Worst referee in Germany by a mile.

Why do you say that ? Will he allow physical challenges ? How will he deal with any playacting ?
