Would love to see Boerrigter and Balde play.

Can't afford to risk Ambrose in this game...:smiley-laughing002:

Milan's defence doesn't impress me. Poli, Motolivio and Nocerino are where they're strongest. The likes of Robinho, el Sharaway, Balotelli, and co. could be potentially lethal, but if we keep our mental game, we could neutralise for the most part.

Few points to be taken off the Italians over the two games, in my opinion. Combine that with some fortune against the Dutch and we could finish runners-up. :50:

Nocerino was dire last season for them and Poli is still quite raw.

What style would you say Balotelli was then?

For me he's a highly technical player, probably the 3rd most technical striker of recent years behind Ibrahimovic and Drogba but those two were also strong powerful players. Balotelli doesnt have the same strength or ability in the air as them but it more quick, also less consistant than them, is hit and miss fairly often but always likely to pop up with a goal especially a penalty.

    Can't wait for this :50:

It'll be hard as *, but I reckon we get a point out of this game. It'll take a lot but anythings possible.

Say what you want about Balotelli, he has settled down since his move to Milan. 13 goals in 15 Serie A appearances is fantastic.

I have a bad feeling he could rip our defence apart. Or maybe not.

A draw would be nice, but a loss is most likely. I won't mind anyway, not expecting any points.

Not too long now! The more I look at there team the more I think we have a proper chance of taking the three points.

He could if he's up for it but he still has off games regularly. We dont want to give away any freekicks of penalties though. Since he returned to Milan he has 14 goals in 18 games, half of them were penalties and freekicks(6 penalties 1 freekick).

As long as we shut him down and rough him up he could put in one of those moody performances where he doesnt do much. But if we give him space and time thats when he could destroy us.

Balo scored a penalty again tonight to send Italy to the World Cup.

Could have had a hattrick tbh, played well and on another night he would have had.

Seemingly thats the 20th penalty he's scored in his career tonight and he's only scored 83 goals, never missed one. Almost 1 out of every 4 of his goals have been penalties. :97: He has also scored 5 out of 5 in friendlies :56:

I think we should give them one just so Forster can end the record, Forsters saved 4? for us.

Not much, last I heard he would be assessed and then it'd be announced.

De Sciglio is out for two months though, which is great news for us. That means it'll likely be a full-back pairing of Zaccardo (right-back) and Constant (left-back). Don't rate either at all highly tbh.

Balotelli showed in his time at Man City what a stroppy big uninterested mug he is when the chips are down.

If he doesn't have a freekick to stand over or penalty to hit, he's not interested.

Not really true tbh. He's definitely changed since joining Milan. And his performances for Italy are consistent and fruitful enough. Does score a lot of penalties though, which depending on your view may skew his statistical record.

Still has never missed a penalty in his career, or has he missed any for Milan yet?
