We need pace in the side to catch milan out on the counter, i think derk is a cert to start.

 

Wow tensions have seriously flared up a bit here...

I've read through the posts and I think some of you guys are using some anti-jinx tactics after reading through it.

By the time Wednesday rolls around I'm pretty sure we won't even have 11 players left fit to put out on the pitch.

I think I've said it a hundred times here, but if there is any a time to beat us at the San Siro, this is it. We're going to be putting out 3rd or 4th choice squad players for the game against you and with the dire way we've been playing I really can't see us winning the game atm.

One thing's for sure, don't expect us to hog the ball ala Barca and push up high and let you catch us on the counter. We might be playing like cr@p but we're not stupid. I'm personally expecting us to let you have the majority of the ball

Ac players dropping like flys! Do we have a full team? What's the guy they forgot to put in the squad I don't know much about ac these days accept there main players and they are * tbh

 

You can put it how you like they could be your 5th choice striker for all I care your still ac milan! Your team has more financial backing than ours and atracts better payers no matter who they are.... I know this isn't how you ment it but I'm just saying

Im not a great fan of Stokes at all.
But i definatly think he has earned his start with his performances recently.

Ac fan can you explain why all of your fans only crawl out after the group stages ? I get in last days ac milan were successful so you expected to qualify but there's no gauarentee here for your team so why doesn't your fans come out in numbers ?

Financial backing? Berlusconi hasn't financially backed the team in a couple of years now, hence the big money sales we've had to make because we were ending the financial year with 60m in the red due to the huge wage bill we had racked up. Times are changing

Yes technically speaking we are going to attract better and more expensive players than you guys but that doesn't really mean anything, especially when said players are going to be out of the game.

Like I said, we'd be lucky if we can field a team of 11 players out there by Wednesday with the way injuries are cropping up for us

 

Don't expect an efficient and ruthless performance like Juve but we will most likely adopt this approach, especially now that we've lost both our most creative midfielders (Poli & Montolivo) and they'll be replaced with runners (Nocerino & Muntari).

They just don't view the group stages as that important, it's always been this sort of mentality. Personally I only expect the Barca game to be a sell out at home, the others will be 3/4 full. Getting past the group is what expected and if that doesn't happen it's a big failure for the club, even if we don't have the squads of years prior.

Doubtful for the game, not ruled out yet.

 

When you have 7 European cups i supose the minimium the fans expect is to get out of the groups.

Really didn't think they were that poor at home, more confidence after seeing that and of course all the injuries they have.

 

Matri was a huge let down for us, no matter what we spent on him, no on really wanted him, and the money to get him was from qualifying for the CL, not from Berlusconi.

Yes, even without Berlusconi's backing we do have more financial power then you guys from revenues but we also have a huge wage bill that is over 100m yearly. So the purse strings are tight atm. 12m on Matri is still a let down for us as we expected better this summer.

I understand what you're saying, but I'd only say Milan "SHOULD" win in normal circumstances (and even then I wouldn't be so sure) but with our current injuries, we're there for the taking. The individual players will matter little here. It depends on the tactical approach we take and as I previously pointed out I'm expecting US to hit YOU on the counter not the other way around.
