Would have loved to see Bobo going up against Baloteli. Two big strong players but I feel Bobo would come out on top, even if it meant breaking him. I don't think Ambrose has the same strength as Bobo but we shall see. A draw away in the first game would be a fantastic result, and to be honest I cant see us getting a win, although I said the same away to S.Mosgow.

I think we will be very lucky to get third in this group. No chance of getting points away to Milan imo. Maybe an extremely lucky draw. At home we have a chance vs anyone but these away ties scare me

You don't *think* he has or you know that Efe Ambrose in an Iron Man suit would still get ragdolled by Bobo :56:

What a polite way to say that Ambrose is a shitebag and Bobo would easily throw him about like a weans toy.

Efe Ambrose in a * tank would still get ragdolled by BB. I still have nightmares about our defence against Emenike last year. I'm expecting similar from Balotelli this year. Only difference is, our defence will be more on the back foot against AC Milan than Spartak Moscow...which makes the prospect worse.

Aye and Balotelli is a different class to Emenike. I'm hoping Van Dijk isn't easily bullied, it isn't a coincedence that game was the one Victor Wanyama was suspended in.

Only time we won the physical battle was when Hooper said * this for a laugh and got shoulder to hip with him :56:

I love having really quick, ball playing CB's, don't get me wrong- I think it's the future; but I wish we still had Vic. We could have moved him back into defence for this one.

Edit: I think Emenike has real class and would love him at Celtic, but yeah, Balotelli is a level higher. World class in fact. That performance against Germany...

Bolloxtelli is an overrated headcase. I'm more afraid of Montolivo and Matri.

    Right, here's my team:

    Forster

    Lustig Van Dijk Ambrose Mulgrew
    Brown Ledley
    Matthews Commons Sammy
    Pukki?

Stokes on for Sammy for the last 20 minutes. Forrest on for Matthews if we need a late goal. Love Izzy and he'd be one of the first names in my team sheet for Barça; but for me he has to sit this one out. We're going to need Mulgrew's greater arial ability.

I know, a player that has almost scored a goal a game since he joined Milan is sooo overrated... He is quality.

I'm just glad Boateng has left. Brilliant player.

Italian teams are very tough to play against, composed and tactical. But I always back us to win. Broony will boss the middle of the park and Commons or Sammy will pop up with a screamer. There's no way we won't concede, so I reckon us to win 2-1.

I really like Vert y Blanc Allez' team above as well, would give us enormous flexibility both attacking them on the break and defending. Commons for Boerigter depending on form and maybe Kayal for Ledley depending on fitness.

Balotelli could destroy us or not get a sniff.

I wouldnt compare him to Emenike, Emenike is a hardworking powerful and fast striker, who is more like a £10million version of Kenny Miller.

Balotelli is more like a lightweighter version of Ibrahimovic and more languid and laidback, even Samarasish at times. Two totally different prospects to play against.

    Big Mario :56: Legend

Anyway, I would go with this

    ----------------Forster--------------
    ------Van Dijk--Ambrose--Mulgrew----
    Lustig----------------------------Izzy
    -----------Brown----Ledley-----------
    ----Commons-----------------Samaras
    ----------------Stokes---------------

    1-1

I think this will be a major factor going into the game to be honest. If Milan go in over confident there's every chance we might surprise them and sneak a point in my opinion.

I just hope we can come away with something.. even if we loose, aslong as we score a few. Get the confidence up and the belief we can do it because WE CAN DO IT!!! (too early for braveheart screams? oops)
