We are really poor in aerial play, it's almost pathetic.

One thing which is going our way is the fact when we played Juve last year we could have won that game by a couple of goals at CP....Minus Efe's mistakes and if we took our chances and had an interested striker we could have won that game 2-1 or 3-1.....And Juve are a better team than Milan

Just bet on Juve winning, that's always a sure bet :86:

I think you're projecting a * Father spin on this a bit too much. As I said, it was arrogance that got to us that day, and there were even reports that they were celebrating during HT.

Winning the CL is everything in football, Berlusconi would never want his team to lose for any reason. Did you see him after our 07 win? You'd think he was the one on the pitch scoring and assisting both goals :87:

We've had this issue under Allegri for all the seasons he's coached us. The marking off of set-pieces a times is simply amateurish. We've improved on it during the course of the seasons but usually we start out the season as if it's the first time all over again.

Hi all - going to be in Italy next week - anyone tell me where best place in Milan (apart from the San Siro) to watch the match - or a decent link to steer me true?

Interested striker? I never thought I'd see someone using our joint worst ever home European defeat as evidence that we can beat Milan. :smiley-laughing002:

With if, you could also won the Cl. Juve were superior, no shame about this.

You don't know how this pains me, but... Juve were just tactically superior to you guys on every level. And I'm not even talking about squad quality. Conte is simply a genius, and you guys played right into their hands in both games last season.

You keep missing my point: does he love Milan enough to risk his life for them? I'm not arguing that I think he deliberately engineered the losses to feather his own nest or for any other kind of gain; I'm arguing he presumably had no choice. Berluscini has clearly always been the monkey rather than the organ-grinder. Can't be bothered arguing anymore, so I'm going to drop it now. Agree to disagee?

I though Juve were surprisingly mediocre, I was really disappointed with them; unfortunately they were still much too strong for us. :54: Did you watch the game, mate? Painful, wasn't it? :54::54:
We just lacked that little bit of quality in the final 3rd. We still do now, which is what worries me.

Because I know that's not how betting is meant to work.

Ahh, now I understand! I was just not understanding that you were implying that Berlu was the one who had to do as someone else was saying. Am I on the right track?

But no, I just can't see that being the case tbh. And if not Silvio, who do you think does in fact pull the strings? Just curious about your views. I tend to be someone who closed one eye to Silvio and his misdeeds

No idea who pulls the strings. The mafia? Some extremely dangerous and nasty group at any rate. Yes, you've got what I was saying. :50: Let's just agree to disagree now, eh?:50:

Ok let's just dissect this for some ignoramuses....If we didn't play a man who was playing in the African Cup of nations final 2 days before our biggest game of our season, 2 goals would've been prevented....If we had a striker who really wanted to be here we might have converted one or two of the several chances we made

In Turin, Juve certainly deserved to win but at CP I think we could have won

Yup. Tie was dead as soon as Ambrose * the first goal.

Juve were unusually clinical on both occasions though.

I don't think they were mediocre, they just didn't go through the gears because they really didn't need to. Their approach was perfect in the away leg, and once they got that away win they really didn't need to do much in their home leg.

And yeah I watched the games, they were painful doubly so, because I absolutely can't stand Juve, but for the good of the league and our co-efficient I had to sort of begrudgingly root for them to win

Yeah let's do that because this could get seriously complicated :icon_mrgreen:

Yeah, they usually miss about 10 clear cut chances per game, but they have no trouble creating as many as it takes to win.

I think he closes both of them, not just one :icon_mrgreen:

Mate, if we hadn't played Efe with his pace it would have been a different game. Pirlo would have pinged balls in behind Mulgrew all day long. I think the referee helped them with set-pieces; but their defence was just too good in open play- we didn't have the quality to open them up. I'm pretty sure we'd have still lost without Efe. Probably not 3-0, though. :54:
