Champions League: AC Milan vs CELTIC, 18th September 19:45 kick off, live on SS2

I really do hate playing Italian teams. * pish, usual spawny *.

 

That would usually cheer me up, but tonight it's just total frustration that we don't have the ability to step up when we have the chance. We've played well tonight - very mature, but ultimately you had the feeling that this was always going to happen.

 

Gutted and raging that we havent won this game, but thats what we get.

It really, truly makes me sick watching us lose to these Italian *. If we had a * fraction of what they spend. I hate, hate, hate AC * Milan. I hate everything about their club. From their bunga bunga directors, to their cheating, diving * for players. * them. I am proud of Celtic. We didn't deserve this.

Had the feeling it might happen but sickening when it does

 

Devastating. Fair enough we didn't take our chances and, bar Stokesy's free kick didn't look particularly like we would score, but they most certainly didn't either.

This is nothing like the Juventus game where most of us realised they could probably go up another couple of gears if they need arose. Milan genuinely weren't in control of this game at all tonight and one jammy goal and another scrappy rebound unfortunately makes them look far, far better than they played.

You've hit the nail on the head there and that's the difference between the top European sides and the likes of us. We've acquitted ourselves really well tonight but our play in the final third has been atrocious. Nobody has shown any composure when they've had the chance to play a killer pass, put a cross in or have a shot. Our forward players lack quality at this level and it shows every single season. One quality signing in that area of the team could really make a difference to us but the board won't do it, they're too proud of their balance sheet.

 

Same thing all the time tho, werent clynical and werent good enough when creating. Same typical *

 

Italian football. Even when they play crap they magic a goal.

At home, Celtic can take them.

Very unlucky tonight. Unlucky is an understatement. Defence does need to get better, relying on deflections is not how we should play.

 

Just have to do another Barca skelping in the next game.

Gutted because we were the better team, angry because our final ball was lacking and so sad that we didn't get something out of this game.
