VAR decisions will be correct to the current laws of the game. If you think a decision is "wrong" then it's the laws of the game you should challenge, not VAR.
It was a stonewall penalty imo and the referee /VAR has applied the laws. Its like a save.

 

Could have stayed on his feet and stuck a leg out to block it but went to ground making himself a bigger target to block the shot imo.
