Best two teams, yes, best league? Not a chance. Who will win the league next year? Barca or real and so on. Technically if celtic was not in scotland, we would have the best league, as anyone top to bottom could arguably win. That is how you define a good league imo, not a league with unfairly balanced tv deals to stop any challengers.

Could say the same of almost all League though.

What would be the best then?

Ironically the Spanish League is the only big League with an actual title race. Bayern, Chelsea and Juve all pished their Leagues easily.

There was only two teams who could have won the English league this year anyway.

Real have to be luckiest * on the planet. :56:

It's going to be tough but we are a much better all round team than 2013.

France? Lyon, P.S.G. and Marseille are all close and have been all season.

Its usually on two teams that can truly win the EPL anyway - the same as most leagues (big leagues anyway). No matter how much the British media try and drum up this idea of an exciting title race.

The early years of the EPL were pretty tight and had a good title race, I think. However since about 1995 its usually two teams:

    1995-2004: Man United & Arsenal
    2004-2008: Man United & Chelsea
2008-2010: Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal & Liverpool (genuinely they only period I remember a wide degree of competition)
    2010-2011: Man United & Chelsea
2011-2013: Man City & Man United
2013-2014: Man City, Chelsea & Liverpool
    2014-2015: Chelsea (genuine)

And if you really want to be harsh, Man United have totally dominated since the inception of the EPL.

True, say the exact thing all the time. Although I usually include Man Utd and Newcastle, and Man Utd and Blackburn.

Last year was the only time I remember a genuine title race with more than two teams.

And yea, Man Utd have won the EPL 13 times. The next highest is currently on 3.

French League isnt that strong though.

Only really the Spanish, English, German and Italian have 5/6 European trophy winning calibre teams...

Barca, Real, Atletico, Valencia, Sevilla & Villarreal
Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool & Spurs
Bayern, Wolfsburg, Dortmund, Monchengladbach, Schalke & Leverkusen
Juventus, Napoli, Lazio, Roma, Fiorentina, Inter & AC Milan

France maybe only PSG, Monaco, Marseille and Lyon, even then French teams just dont seem to do that well in Europe. Portuguese, Russian and Ukrainian teams seem to outperform them or match them.

French teams actually have a diabolical record in Europe, only 2 of their teams have won a European Trophy, Marseille the Champions League and PSG the Cup Winners Cup lol

Scottish teams have won more European trophies than them.

    Absolutley shockin

Aye, its very bizarre why French teams struggle in Europe. Lyon in their pomp should have done much better.

Disagree, in 2013 we had Wanyama, Samaras and an on-form Hooper. We're getting there though.

Reckon it'll end up a Bayern-Real final and Bayern will win it.

Was hoping Real and Juve would get kept apart so both could get pumped out of the semi's.

Did they not get caught out for bribery the year before they won
    the european cup.
Was that the year they "qualified" to play in & win the big one,
if it wasn't taken off them then that's condoning cheating.

Barca vs Bayern could be a cracker. It's either a clasico in the final or Bayern v Real once again.
