Messi is clearly not fit, and it shows. There is no way a fully fit messi would have that little influence on the game.

I'm usually his biggest critic. In all, I'd say 35 games I've seen Robben play in he has been very predictable and disappointing. Tonight he was excellent though, I have to admit.

Wow. Just wow. Proud day to support Bayern, that's for sure :50: Properly thrilled about this game, great atmosphere to add to the great performance! Can't wait for the game at the Nou Camp. Certainly seems to be the end of the Barca era.

( My two favorite teams both beat Barcelona :icon_mrgreen: )

I've mentioned this before but imo the Barca era ended in Guardiola's last term in charge. They lost that bit of magic that made them almost invincible and have increasingly became a 4-man team. As for critics of Tika Taka, it is a great and effective style of football that wears teams down but like all styles, there are ways to play against it.

I'd agree. I think it's odd how people come out now and criticize Barca's tiki taka as if it's justifying their idea that it's ineffective. Barcelona and Spain combined have only won everything possible over the past 5-6 years, but other than that yeah.

Don't know why this can't be just viewed as a passing of the baton between two great powers.

I thought Bayern would win last night 2-0 maybe 3-1 but I don't think anyone seen 4-0 coming.

Be very very difficult for Barca to come back from that but if anyone can it's them.

Some of the posts in the last 10 or 15 pages have been hilarious, how people can get so worked up about two teams they don't even support I don't know.

I don't think many people would agree with you there. Compared to a Bundesliga or german cup game the atmosphere was rather mediocre. The Bayern ultras do not support during european games as they do during domestic games, mainly due to some issues they have with the club about the ticket distribution and controls for those areas that are terraces during domestic matches. That is also why many seats behind the goal in the Südkurve were left empty during all CL matches, even though the tickets were sold. The Ultras wanted the club to hear and see that they are unhappy.

Going for a 2-1 Dortmund win tonight, think Real will go through in the end though.

    * sake. Just seen Real Madrid and Mourinhos records in Germany.

Real Madrid have played 24 games in Germany and only Won 1. Mourinho has managed 5 games in Germany and lost all 5.
