    The last time we won 3-2 vs them the next game after was a Scottish cup semi final and we were 4-0 up early in the second half with McGregor giving us an early lead.

    The same would do nicely tomorrow but realistically any win will do. Their season depends on it but I am not sure how that affects them, they haven’t been good under pressure before.

    However, it looked like we had them where we wanted them when 1-0 up in last years semi only to get beat.

    Just get the job done Celtic and start of a very nice couple of weeks.

    I couldn’t sleep last night, I’ve got no chance tonight!

    I don’t care how we do it, we just have to win.

    The importance of this game is enormous in relation to their morale. They can win one off games as last year proved. We have to put them under the cosh.

    Our guys have not come out the traps in the last three games against them, but we won two and got a last minute equaliser. I will excuse the January game due the players having a virus though.

    In the past there have been times when I knew we would win, but this has so much riding on it for them. They win and it’s a distinct possibility they retain the Scottish Cup. We win and their reality of failure will hit them square between the eyes.

    We must go at them from the first second and score enough goals to negate any honest mistakes or fannying about at the back mistakes.

    The young team in our support have been spoiled for the past 12 years. We older crusty cynics are always a bit more nervous. A one off game we simply have to win.

    Watched the first semi final and despite our fears the pitch seemed fine, no players slipping around or chunks having to be replaced, quite a few passes went astray but I’m thinking that was down to the skill set of the players rather than divots

    Any win will do in a cup game. Always a chance for a shock or in this fixture a fluke or cheating opportunity. The huns will be pumped like * by the management and media.

    On the other hand. We are streets ahead and on paper should be hammering the scum. The biggest factor going into this game is the fear the hun players have of their own fans. They will fear putting a foot wrong and in the white hot atmosphere they could freeze with fright. We need to keep possession better than last few games.

    I would definitely start with Iwata and ease Reo into it the 60mins mark.
