I thought Cha Du Ri had a nightmare tonight. He looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights, and his positional sense and defensive abilities just seemed to go out of the window. We were getting raped down his side all night, and for all his speed, he just seemed to be running around in circles.
I was actually thinking for the first time tonight that I would have preferred
Hinkel there despite all his flaws. I think we have a problem here developing at right back, with Hinkel out long term, and Cha Du Ri looking very ragged.
Do we slot Juarez in there and lose his strength and purpose from midfield, or will we have to buy another right back, as Caddis is away.

Do you think Gordon Strachan would have signed him!!!!??

We will be wishing Hinkel was available sooner than people think, Cha will be found it against decent opposition.
I don't think tonight was a one off. -

I thought he'd shine for us, I liked him at the world cup but after a couple of games it became clear we needed hinkel in there
why he was ever dropped is beyond me. -
-
I rate the guy DV as i think he does more good than bad but tonight yeah was a mess but did he get much help in there No ,the back kicks need a good man in front of them and look to a Centre Half aswell for cover but there was nothing to show tonight from anyone really ,you could point the finger at about 9 players there tonight and say the same mate .
-
I also dont think Hinkel would have done anything any different. That was the exact type of game Hinkel always got exposed in. -
The * can't defend for toffee.
-
he's good for scotland. good going forward but can't defend. problem tonight was that he was pish going forward as well
-
He's another one who looks good against * opposition. As soon as he's faced with an attacking threat he looks lost, in saying that he was'nt helped at all by the two centre halfs who had a total nightmare.
-
he hasnt had a good game since he joined. he is quick but that is all he has in his locker. he cant defend and seems brainless at times. how he was getting a game infront of hinkel is beyond me. its no wonder he changes teams nearly every season
-
He'll be good in the SPL.
And that, folks, is what we have for the next 12 months. -
-
He was on a par with Samaras and Fortune, a pathetic disgrace, Cha should have been taken off at halftime, Jaurez put at rightback and Maloney brought in earlier!
Neil Lennon I think has difficulty subbing timely and properly! -
-
I,d honestly take mark wilson over him thats how bad he looked tnite although do agree he was no worse than the other guys pretending to be defenders !!

He has never played well for us, people rave about him cause he is so quick but he is a defender who can't defend. When Utrecht were talking about our weakness's I thought they were talking about mulgrew who is also * but no they got it spot on when they targeted cha as a weakness. Why can't any of our recent managers sort out our defense??? It's doing my head in...
