Celts Set To Offer Petrov A New Deal

id love to see petrov captain,i think he'd make a great captain,but still its lennon thats the captain at the min,petrovs time ill come

 

i wont kill u, i would like 2 see him as captain 2, but when lenny is sadly no longer in the side will be the time, so probably next season.. but stan certainly deserves it (after lenny of course!)

 

The story about Petrov is true bhoys they were taking about 2nite on Celtic tv,G.S. will be talking to Stan the man later this week just hope he signs a new contract,Stan been very loyal to Celtic over the years 7-years is a long time 4 a player to still be there,don't get me wrong there are probaly lots of clubs out there who would love to have a player thats great in midfield+he loves to burst from there+score lots of goals.
On Celtic tv they were saying about giving Petrov the captains armband that way he might just stay after his contract runs out in the summer stan would love that! Our longest serving player at the club right now!(think-so)

 

Glad to see the board getting on top of things. Hopefully Stan will want to stay and will meet them half way in the negotiations. His boot would be near impossible to fill.

 

Great news if he signs should be given an offer he can't refuse and should be given the captains armband immediatly a think, we should build the team around Stan. Lennon's been a good servant but he's past it now and imo is currently useless. Would love to see Stan signed to partner him in the center of the park.

 

I wonder what Petrov gets week now,maybe something like 8/10-grand a week he is worth more than that if Big Bobo's getting 30,000 grand aweek for the Years Petrov gave to the club(7-years+still going) he should get the 30,000 grand and Bobo pick his wage up-8 grand he can afford a drop in his wage big Bobo!

Stan deserves more money than anyone at Celtic, best player by quite a bit.
