Just as an update, Celtic TV for the first (away) leg now says "LIVE on Celtic TV for subscribers outside the UK & Ireland". The second leg still lists only audio.

 

Looks like I'll have something to watch on Friday before I head to work.

 

1. Just realised the draw for the 3rd qualifying round is on Friday.
   
   Assuming all seeded teams go through, Possible ties are:
   Malmo FF (sweden)
   Astana (Kazakhstan)
   Partizan Belgrade (serbia)
   Rijeka (Croatia)
   Rosenborg (Norway)
   Sheriff Tiraspol (moldova)
   Hapoel Beer-sheva (Israel)
   Slavia Praha (Czech)
   FH Hafnarfjardur (Iceland)
   Viitoriul Constanta (romania)
   
   I think the obvious tie we would want from that list is the icelandic mob. There's a few possible tricky ties in there ,Rijeka,Slavia Prague, Rosenborg and Malmo.
   
   I still think under brendan we will have too much for all of these teams , however we need to be at the top of our game to avoid any upsets.

Rosenborg are nowhere near what they were, would have them as third choice after FH and Sheriff.

 

What about Beer Sheva? They were really good last season.

 

Partisan away would the board * it and not give us tickets again? Surely Serbia is worse then Linfield away

 

Aye, meant to include them in that mate.

 

Aye I would think partizan away would be worse than Linfield away, they Serbs are radio rental.

 

Be worried if we got them, really decent team.

 

Roughly what dates are the next round scheduled for ,heading to Croatia shortly ,wouldn't mind the dates landing on my holiday and getting the Croatian mob . Whilst I'm here asking for a bit much double figures both legs against these Hun * would be nice too

 

Would be brilliant if we got that icelandic team, Rjeca would be my second choice, been a couple of years now but they got pumped off aberdeen 3-0 at home. Would 100% want to avoid beer-sheva and partizan(Still think we would beat both, but these are the the trickiest ties imo).

 

Hopefully avoid Astana, ber'sheva and Belgrade. The rest would decent draws.

Beer Sheva are * terrible, we should of done them by 6 or 7 in the home leg last year and that's at the start of Brendan's reign, if we play them now we will give them a pasting, don't forget the away leg we had * Janko playing right back with Lustig and Toure centre back and no rogic, Armstrong or Dembele starting, if we are sat worrying about those * we are going to have serious problems in the group stages should we get there

We shouldn't underestimate * but there isn't a team there that worry's me, if we cant be 100% confident beating any of those sides we shouldn't be in champs league. * bringing any of the * on, Belgrade would be an interesting game.

 

Would like to see us play Malmö again, be a good to give them a better game than we did last time.

 

I think we'll do the business against all of them with a return home leg

 

First leg 25th-26th July , 2nd leg 1st-2nd Aug mate.

 

No doubt plenty of the Scottish huns will be out for the home leg in the pubs with Linfield. Mind the game against Man City polis had to create a diversion for us at Bridgeton, this should be a laugh.
