    He looks like a player Rodgers would love and has never done anything wrong when called upon. The Barcelona game is a write off...for everyone.

    Aye, only thing I can think of is he doesn't like Gamboa as he's weak in the air and so is the team overall so he doesn't like playing him.

    I mind last season there was a lot of games he could have played Gamboa just to rest and rotate Lustig but he never done it, also Eboue he could have played more when he came in but he never and Rodgers kept playing Bitton instead who had been average but could be Rodgers is worried about us in the air and is * himself about conceding from set peices. But then why would he bring these guys in.

    Someone said BR didnt sign Gamboa which might explain somethings. Seems he appeared between Delia leaving and BR joining.

    Does anyone know if that is true?

    Apparentlly lewandowski had a falling out with rumminiege over signings.Rumminiege doesnt take *.

    Bit childish from lewandowski as bayern munich have been succesful without the need for 100 million pound signings.

    Don't know what kind of team talk rodgers gave but the players were not mentally prepared for this game they looked * scared right from the first whistle was embarrassing

    At this level we can't stand off teams. We let them have far too much time on the ball and found ourselves 3-0 down at half time.

    Yes they probably did take their foot of the gas second half but second half we were getting in their faces more. Our performances last season, especially against City show that we can cause teams trouble at this level.
