IMO Oktoberfest is totally overrated anyway - plus hotels across Munich are much more expensive for the whole duration of Oktoberfest. So this is not a bad thing for people who actually want to go to the game or even play tourist really.

No they woudn't :40: Three would draw them level on four points with us and we'd go through virtue of the head to head record :50:

Does head to head come before goal difference in the groups then?

Yeah we could lose 5-0 to PSG and Bayern
    Twice
Anderlecht could lose 1-0 twice but if we beat them 2-0 at Celtic park and they only beat us 1-0 in Belgium
We would go through in3rd place irrespective of other result s

Booked Paris but everyone else seems to be going to Munich. Psg champs lge visitors only get 2k tics. Does anyone think it would be ok to sit in home end. Done it for Ajax the night of the riot and hated it.

That is 100% as I saw the price, hospitality was stretching it to be fair, it was just a padded seat in JS Lower, a free programme and access to Kerrydale Suite

Even getting an opportunity to sit in the home end will be good, Bayern is very tough to get near any sort of ticket for their smallest games, I know from experience, PSG is also very hard, I'm not bothering with any of these trips although I have many contacts can't be bothered with the hassle of finding tickets

It's great f you like paying 12 euro for a beer and standing around with non Germans, missing out on Oktoberfest is a right result as anyone going will have a far more authentic and cheaper experience of Bavaria.

There's a great market area just round the back of Marionplatz I recommend everyone to head for, real old school German beer gardens etc

What an amazing coincidence. And have you ever noticed how prices get higher during the school holidays just when most people want to fly? * unbelievable, man. :39:

Years ago it used to be cheaper to call after 6pm (don't know if it still is) and we used to have these things called 'phone boxes' too. In my first year at uni (back in the mid 90's) I would obviously wait until 6pm before calling people. I couldn't believe how unlucky I was that bang on 6pm it would always get occupied just when I wanted it. It took weeks for the penny to drop (I was 17, though). :56:
