Big Rab isn't our worst goalie of all time. He wasn't great but come on!

Big Rab is pathetic, cost us so much. When it really mattered he cocked up.

I emphaisised why I BELIEVE Rab Douglas is our worst goalkeeper in my memory with an explanation. I didn't state it as fact but I can't imagine anyone agruing with what I said i.e my explanation.

I liked old Peter The Pointer(always with the finger of blame). He was'nt the best but he gave it his all every time he played.
Also wee Joe Miller was alrite. Loved his goal against the huns after Big Roy Aitken's hilarious foul throw.

Now that team would win any CL+SPL+Scottish-Cup+CIS-Cup they wouldn't even beat my son's primary-School's team bhoys+ghirls can Remember them well Stuart Slater came up from West-Ham with High hopes for the bhoys * * he was+Wayne Biggins played more like his dad Christorpher Biggins but he wasn't his son what a shame Chris and what about Big,Skinny Gary Gillespie came from Liverpool great talent back at Liverpool but got injured and that was that enough said+what about Cascarino liked to get * up in Glasgow seen him more times in a club or heard that he was Trying to pick fights all the time

 

Think it's out of order puttin Peter Grant in the team, he was a true Celt, gave 100% every time he put on the jersey and was a great servant.

Don't think a could name a full team of the worst ever players , but Rab Douglas, Dom Sullivan, Tony Cascerino, Ian Wright , Eyal Berkavic , Tebily would all be in it.

 

I've never liked in Celtic:Regi Blinker,Tommy Boyd,Tosh McInley( is it correct spelling),Eyal Berkovic,Rob Douglas,Henry Camara...There is a lot of them,but i can't remember at this time.P.S. I noticed you put just recent players,but what about Celtic players from 50's,or before the WW2.
I know it's hard to line up them here,but in that time,there was also a * players.

 

how could you say tommy boyd is in your worst team

 

Carl Muggelton made one of the best saves that i have ever seen away to Falkirk,he was at his front post and the ball was chipped over his head, he dived backwards and tipped the ball over the bar at the back post.The fact that he dived backwards the full length of the goal and saved a certain goal will always stay with me.Some of the players mentioned here i cannot think of anything posotive about but i will always remember him with fondness.

 

Well i can,so what can you do about it.All i remember him is from 1996 till 2001 and he was a big hole in our defence and was so slow.Simply i never liked him,like i don't like Lennon as a player,altough he's got a big heart,but it doesn't make him a good player.

 

One save doen't mean hes a great keeper m8 in my opinion anyway

 

I cant say he was a great keeper but certainly made an impression on me.

 

Fair enough Davie m8 I suppose he was OK,what about Stuart Slater????

 

Where's the Mourice Johnstone?

 

Tommy Boyd was a very good player oan his day imo, just got old and lost a yard of pace, always gave 100% tae. Very unfair huvin him in the team imo.

Mo Johnstone, while he wis a traitorous rat, was actually a decent striker.
