Rogan, Biggins and Cascarino must be in there.

Grant NEVER ... he was our wee terrier who broke up the plays and gave the ball to McStay. The ulTIMate.

I have to agree with the general sentement about Grant, I loved the guy, a hard working player with a real love of the club - not one for the worst XI. Regi Blinker, Tebily and stuart slater must be included.

Petta had a great year with us (Ajax away, 6-2 etc.) so how can he possibly be in the worst eleven?

I think Peter Grant was *, big deal get over it. I'm sure if you think hard and stop havin a selective memory about him you'll remember him givin the ball away 50% of the game and givin away dangerous free kicks around the box all the time, the fact that he was Celtic through and through made it worse cause the manager developed a soft spot for him and played him every game.

    I stick by my 11.

u sure, I always thought he was a right full, near 100% sure he was.
As for Peter Grant, I cannot see how anyone can put him in the worst Celtic XI. Always gave 100% for the club. If he was that bad, he would have been dumped by the club even before the dark days of Brady, Macari etc

not sure about Valgaeran either he had a few excellent seasons when he partnered dolph at the back,i'd rather have kept him and got rid of varga.and remember he wasn't the same player after he had that injury.as for peter grant i liked him and i didn't mind petta either

You have your opinion, that's cool. To say the manager had a soft spot for him and played him every game???? He must have been a * of a likable lad because he got a regular game under Hay season 86/87 , 87---91 McNeill, Brady 91-93, Macari 93-94, Burns 94-96. Five managers thought he was deserving of a game, unless your argument is that they were all * managers also?

Ok I might have been a bit hard on Peter Grant, I've decided to take him out and put Regi Blinker instead, I'll admit it I got it a bit wrong.

Hail Hail Peter the Great!!!!!!!! Regi didn't impress many, although he only played 48 games for us over 3 seasons , he did score 9 goals, not bad return for a midfielder, but yeh, I thought he was pish!!!!!

If I remember he did play right-back often, but mostly left-back. He actually was a right-back and played there when he moved to Boro.
I remember he came on at right-back in the 90-91 cup final. Peter Grant was filling in at right-back and had Mark Walters in his pocket. We were 1up and holding tight when Joe Miller was taken off, Morris came on and Grant moved to right-Mid. Walters ran rings round Morris and within five minutes he scored to take the game to extra time. Just before the end of the first period a mix-up betwean Bonner and Morris allowed Gough in to score...the cup was lost. (Just one of my memories of Morris playing right-back)

He was deffo a right back, mad dog Rogan partnered him at left back.

    My worst XI:

    Ian Andrews
    Olivier Tebily
    Gary Gillespie
    Mo Camara
    John Hewitt
    Brian Mclaughlin
    Wayne Biggins
    Tony Cascarino
    Regi Blinker
    Simon Donnelly
    Stuart Slater

I know theyre not in their correct positions before anyone starts!
